Is it really good? Because it is certainly not cheap at $0.42/oz

Compare to "ok" variants:
$9 for 32oz $0.28/oz
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CMQD3VS

$16 for 80oz $0.28/oz
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CMQD3VS

I also tried these two from more to the expensive side variety:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WSJP3WC
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DPX8AN8
and liked these both.

I used to buy only local honey because I bought into the myth that it helps allergies. But theres absolutely no scientific evidence to support this widely circulated theory. Now I would just like a good raw honey from the US. Is this good?

Agreed. I used to think honey was honey. The only way to tell is if its manufactured using artificial ingredients and am not familiar with this brand.

Is it from the US? Depends... do you view Texas as its own country, or part of the US? Serious question since many in Texas are very opinion about the subject. Side note: Texas retained the right to print its own money. No other state can. It also has greater autonomy than many other states.

Is it raw? From the website, it is raw and unfiltered. Being north of Dallas, and even Frisco, the area where the bees are kept is a very rural plain terrain. Lots of farms, livestock etc. so short of it not officially being 'organic' it's about as raw and free of artificial stuff as you can get.

Is it good? Matter of opinion. To me, I'm a sucker for yaupon honey, or if I'm particularly in the mood, cottonwood. This is going to more than likely be a wildflower honey. There are no citrus to really speak of, nor is the area particularly dry right now, so tree based honey is not likely.

Thank for your response. And yes I still consider TX as part of the US.

I too need confirmation on whether Texas is still part of the union before purchasing this honey. Can we add this to the wiki?

Isn't there supposed to be a seal or certification that it's not blended with fake Chinese honey?

My daughter has allergies and wife buys her the local honey from few towns away in Eastern MA - she pays about $20-$25 per bottle (no sure on the exact weight).

We were at supermarket and there were honey from NJ and Upstate NY for $12/lbs. She wouldn't buy them because she doesn't think flowers honey from NJ/NY would help my daughter. Whatever makes wife happy!

Costco is way cheaper. I buy the 3 lb bottle for $10 - Central Valley Honey in California.
