you have insecurity issues bruh
Have two and ordering a third. This bike is solid. The negative comments in this thread either don't have direct experience with this product or not in the market for this type of bike. Rad is completely different class and price. Rad 1k model not even available yet, next model up is 1.2k utility bike which is not even full size bike anyway. The closest competitor to this bike is a $500-600 a swag tron in the same form factor and feature. The cheapest full size ebike are Chinese brands like avenir (sp?) on Amazon for $600-700. For half the price of any close competitor from a legitimate brand from an solid retailer, this bike was a no brainer to me. If you don:t want a small bike, fine move on. If you want to try an ebike and don't care about the form factor, this bike is solidly built for extremely low price. It was oos for months after I ordered it and will be oos again while you decide whether to buy. Buy it, try it, don't like it, not what you expected, return it to costco. For $300, I am amazed they make any money off of this.
Small apartments.

I know, it's still a miniature clown bike.

Spend the extra money and buy a Rad Power Bike instead of one of these ridiculous and uncomfortably small toys.
Yeah seems fair. Compare a 300 bike to a 1k bike. Like comparing a civic to a Porsche. Good try

This is meant as a "last mile" commuter, not for riding on trails on the weekend. I could see a downtown office worker using it instead of renting a lime/jump bike.

They claim 15 degree slope without pedals.

thats the old version

The one for in this thread is the pro that is sleeker and nicer looking, better built quality bigger wheels so rides better, and actually has pedal assist so it works like a regular bike too if battery is dead. only nice thing about the regular old bolt was you can change sped to 19mph on app while this can only go 15.5-16mph

Its actually pretty decent on inclines; I don't even have to pedal. Where it falters is its top speed. I mostly stay in the 14 mph range and im 130Ibs

Rad has the least expensive name brand (not knockoff Chinese trash) ebikes on the market. They're like a Honda, with Tern being a Porche.

If you want to use a car comparison this thing is basically a golf cart.
Find me a 300 rad bike please. find me a 500 rad bike, find me a 750 rad bike. see where I am going with this?

Yeah the only real comparison are those $300 scooters. I chose the bike because i like the option of pedaling for Exercise and i like the reassurance that i wont have to push it if i run out of juice. Also ive ridden those lime and bird scooters and those things feel Terrifying on any surface that isnt completely smooth. This bike while tiny is still much more sturdy than the average cheap scooter.

Have you had any experiences with taking this into a grocery store or similar when there isn't somewhere to lock up your bike at? Do employees hassle you?

I live somewhat close to a shopping center and have honestly been considering replacing my car with this.

Your idea of "Extra money" is 3 times the price of this bike lmao. This is a good bike for people who are in the market for cheap electric scooters but want something more stable and with range security.
Good comparison. This is a cheap toy for a teenager, while a Rad Power bike is a fully functional adult bicycle with a motor that makes it a potential car replacement.

As long as people understand that this is a cheap toy that's fine, but the shills in this thread are talking about it like it's something it's not.
