Sheer Miracle
8/30/20 Hi, I'm Jane the Founder and CEO of Sheer Miracle. We had a colossal mishap happen and owe a bunch of people a BIG apology. We are truly sorry about this misunderstanding. Been crying all day trying to figure out a way to fix this. HERE'S THE ISSUE Someone got a hold of and posted a coupon across the internet and social media without our consent for free samplers. That coupon was meant for a small group of people in a promo we were running and NEVER supposed to be public. To add insult to injury, our shopping cart did not cap the number of offers to 100 as it was supposed to for the original promo. So... we are a small family company and got 35,000 (yes, that says thirty five THOUSAND) free sampler orders overnight. "Free" samplers cost us $7 each between product cost, labor and postage. We obviously cannot send out $250,000 worth of free samples. HOW WE TRIED TO FIX IT We truly understand why people are upset and disappointed. We sent out an email in the hope that if we honestly explained what happened, people would understand and be empathetic and kind. We also included a coupon for the first 100 takers for 20% off if people were still interested in trying our products or placing an order. We capped it at 100 because we didn't want to run into the same problem with more orders than we could possibly fulfill. People did not understand. Most have not been kind, but a few have restored our faith in humanity. Again, we feel terrible and sincerely apologize for this honest mistake. I've poured my heart into this business which I created from nothing 15 years ago. I'm hoping this mishap doesn't erase all of that. Thanks for listening and have a wonderful weekend. ️ xo-Jane
