The $250 price point is what I'm waiting for. It's still priced at $324 in my area so this is a good sign as prices tend to trickle down.

Does lowe's allow returns on clearance items? I bought one last week for 389 (still new in box) and they won't price match because it's a clearance item. I was thinking of purchasing another at the new price and returning the other one I bought last week. Just don't want to get stuck with 2.

I have the self propelled version, and i think it is worth the extra $50. If you have to mow asking any sort of incline, i think getting the self propelled is a no brainer. Have been using a Kobalt 80V self propelled mower for 2 seasons now and have been very satisfied. Hopefully the battery powered riding mowers will become more mature in the next 5 to 10 years so I can finally ditch the final piece of gas powered tool in my possession and become 100% electric.

Why would you get stuck with 2? As long as you have your receipt, shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, they will accept returns for clearance items within the 30 day window.

Nothing near me yet, but a store does finally have the self-propelled for $389. OOS, but I was able to order it for pickup within 7 days at that price. So try that if you can find one.

I'd buy but concerned about the support. Seems to me they're clearing out the kobalt 80v making room for ego. I wish there was more information about where this line was headed. Discontinued or cutting back

Does anybody know if the trick to buy something at one location, then switch locations after placing an order still works? Haven't bought from Lowes in a long while.

Even if it's flat, self propelled helps. You mow one row and turn 180 degrees, it's easier to just propel it forward than walking all the way around the mower and pushing it from a dead stop. Plus of course this goes double if you are doing this on a hill.
