I absolutely loved my ego self-propelled mower after 5 years. To replace it and the battery would be $500. I have a green works snowblower and it works well in Chicago snow. I'll give this a shot for $250

Seems like a great deal. I have the 60v blower and snow thrower. I'd be all over this if I didn't snag a 40v mower super cheap last year. Nice find though.

It's strange that Lowe's just picked up this line and they are already on clearance.

Correct. The self-propelled function is not working and my battery doesn't keep a charge long enough to cut the whole yard..... possibly more than 5 years

The link says 5.0Ah battery is sold separately. Does anyone know how much does that cost? I couldn't find an affordable link for a greenworks 60v 5.0Ah battery.

Also, does anyone know whether purchasing that battery is necessary and/or how many hours does the in-built battery last?

Very isolated deal. Most MN and WI stores show $499. Some a bit cheaper in northern IL.
