Note: although it said you need to port in, I was able to checkout by getting a new #. So probably no need to port.

I learned from SD to get a Sim from ebay to port out from Sprint. I think it will serve the same purpose.
Go to eBay and search at&t phone port (2.49 + tax, I used empiremobi)
phone, account and pin numbers emailed to you

From other threads, there's something about this e6 that is different than others.

uhhh yeah? I think the $25 price point reflects that and no where was it mentioned that this was actually free free. You still have to trade in and also purchase 1 month of service

Received the moto today. Shipped the swap phone using the UPS ground return label. Swap phone is a decade old samsung cdma flip phone without imei; it has some kind of esn/dec# printed under battery cover. Fingers crossed.

I received the phone, set it up, installed the visible app and followed the instructions.

Now, I'm presented with "Once your old carrier unplugs your service, you'll be able to receive calls and texts. Should be quick." I have zero signal.

I bought the AT&T Port number from Ebay.

Any idea how long it would take for the port to happen? I mean honestly I'm not going to use it anyway -- ill just pay the first month and disconnect but I just don't want to get charged the full price since it could be a technicality that my port out was not successful.

You have to call Mint Mobile, but a few people have reported that Mint Mobile did not give them the port out info because it's a trial service, so YMMV.

From my understanding after reading a few posts on this thread, you only have to port in a number if you want the free Speck case, is that correct?

Hey so I just contacted CS about the case and $50 MC promo, they said since we're on Swap none of those promos apply to us.. I swear I didn't see any mention of that anywhere.. kinda feel duped and ripped off
