Note: although it said you need to port in, I was able to checkout by getting a new #. So probably no need to port.

I learned from SD to get a Sim from ebay to port out from Sprint. I think it will serve the same purpose.
Go to eBay and search at&t phone port (2.49 + tax, I used empiremobi)
phone, account and pin numbers emailed to you

From other threads, there's something about this e6 that is different than others.

uhhh yeah? I think the $25 price point reflects that and no where was it mentioned that this was actually free free. You still have to trade in and also purchase 1 month of service

FreedomPop shut down the global SIM about 2 years ago. They now only offer and operate SIMs that run on AT&T.

Also, even if the global SIMs hadn't been discontinued, they still wouldn't work on an A3. My recollection is that the global SIMs' parent operator was ThreeUK and only allowed you roaming access on T-Mobile and/or AT&T's 3G network, not LTE. The A3 has its 3G antennas disabled via the operating software. That's why voice and text don't work when you swap in an AT&T or T-Mobile SIM.

Not sure. My question was about at&t lte freedompop sims from uk and why they no longer work.

Trying to use Visible SIM on an old phone. I believe I have the SIM is activated. What should the Visible APN be?

Not a lie... or maybe I was an exception. Got the email from Visible confirming my device qualified for Visible Swap on Oct 6th. Sent in the device on Sept. 27th.

You picture of the email doesn't have the time and date...or email raw header if you know what it is

I believe some people did get email. I've never gotten any email confirmations, probably because all the phones I sent were crappy ones.

OTOH, I wonder what would happen if I sent in a non-Android flip phone. Would they send me an email saying "Nice try, but NO."?

But at this point I have so many new unlocked phones that I don't need another one, even for free.

havent paid for the 2nd month, dont plan to. but supposedly the speck promo is supposed to be emailed to you without the 2nd month. didnt get it

fairly certain they pulled the promos for this and it was just a display error on the website
