Open to 50 US/DC; D23 members; 18+
Photo entry begins at 12:00 AM PT on 9/17/20 and ends at 11:59 PM PT on 10/1/20
If selected as a Semi-Finalist, video entry begins at 9:00 AM PT on 10/13/20 and ends at 9:00 AM PT on 10/20/20
Photo Entries are limited to one (1) per person
HOW TO ENTER
To participate in this contest, you must be a current D23 General, Gold, or Gold Family Member.
If you are not a member, create a free General Member account*
Submit an entry form and a photo of your costume September 17 – October 1, on D23.com.
You can submit up to 3 photos in an original costume inspired by "All Things Disney."
"All Things Disney" means costumes should be inspired by the fantastic worlds of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Star Wars, from movies and TV to Disney Parks attractions and other Disney properties.
Before submitting, check out the Contest Rules to ensure your costume entry will be considered!
Join us Halloween night!
Winners will be announced at the virtual D23 Halloween Mousequerade event, which will be streamed on D23.com and D23's Facebook and YouTube channels on October 31.
Phase 2/Semi-Finalist Selection: Sponsor's appointed panel of judges, as selected by Sponsor and/or Administrator in their sole discretion, will score the eligible Photo Entries to select up to twenty-five (25) semi-finalists ("Semi-Finalists") to submit Video Entries based on the following judging criteria ("Photo Judging Criteria"), weighted equally: [a] quality of Costume, [b] craftsmanship of Costume, [c] originality of Costume, [d] use of materials in Costume and [e] relevance to the Theme.
PRIZES/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE ("ARV"):
One (1) Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a Disney Gift Card for $500 ("Grand Prize"). ARV: $500.
One (1) First Runner Up Prize: One (1) First Runner Up will receive a Disney Gift card for $250 ("First Runner Up Prize"). ARV: $250.
One (1) Second Runner Up Prize: One (1) Second Runner Up will receive a Disney Gift Card for $100 ("Second Runner Up Prize"). ARV: $100.
"Grand Prize", "First Runner Up Prize" and "Second Runner Up Prize" referred to collectively herein as "Prize(s)" and each as a "Prize".
Total ARV of all Prizes: $850.00
Limit: one (1) Prize per person.
