*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

Free line and the $250 virtual card for the port received, what's not to like. Great deal. Thanks OP!

Im getting charged too, but I called two different times about it and both reps said that the promotion would kick in after the 3rd month, and I will be refunded/credited for the first 3 months.

Was able to get a credit for the amount above. They assured me moving forward it would be free.

I know I had the promo since looking at account plan, it had listed AAL Sept promo.

FWIW, they were charging me $25 for the line and the rep stated he just upped the monthly credit to the account by $10 to cover the rest.

Can I change my plan and keep my free line or do I need to wait a year to do that too?

Hope all is well! With new free line on horizon, I was wondering, how did it go for you when you changed the plan. Did all of your promo stayed as is?

Keep trying and keep your fingers crossed ...

I had trouble adding "FREE line" to my T-Mobile ONE account - I was on SOC "FRLTULF2" and already had (8) voice lines - the maximum for that plan. I had to request help 4 times from T-Force to get it done (first attempt had "technical difficulties", 2nd attempt "just said NO - either switch to Magenta or forget free line", third attempt also said NO at first) but then another T-Force rep took over the Twitter session and switched my plan to SOC "TIULFM9".

I'm still waiting to see if any of my promotions or discounts (Insider Discout (aka Hookup), existing free lines, 50% off lines, Kickback & ONE Plus Promo) are intact, but I documented everything about those carefully before the switch and in the chat session with T-Force so I expect I can get them re-instated if there are any issues.

Hey - did everything worked out fine with free lines? September free line promo, was added by system automatically?
Quote from wad2k6 :
Added mine yesterday with port in. Everything works but it still doesn't show up on my account as being free. Just have to wait it out. Got free line in July, and showed up as free that bill, but Aug bill the free part was gone. Tforce took care of it with credit, and was planning on following up so it shows as free this month. Of course I just made it more confusing for them by adding this latest free line..

Everything is intact and added two additional free lines after the plan change. Planning on adding another free line.

Great, so you're on FRLTULF2 and they changed it to TIULFM9? Did you had to go through hassle, or it was an easy to ask and switch over.

It was not too much a hassle to switch if you get a rep who knows/willing what s/he is doing.
