Just looked and Xfinity Mobile must be getting rid of the Pixel 4's.
Only 64GB left. Faster processor than Pixel 4a but the battery is probably worse.
Must be a Xfinity Mobile subscirber.
Sorry forgot the links.

How many times you need to use the word better?
I know the phone is sim locked to xfinity, but I'm hoping the bootloader is not locked as well?
I think he was taking about sim unlock which is a totally different thing.
Another question is how easy it is to cancel xfinity mobile? Can I do it online? Comcast somehow likes to mess up billing
Thanks for the answers.

And the reason this is important to know is because the SIM unlock essentially controls the ability to bootloader unlock (IMPORTANT: WITH THE EXCEPTION OF UNITS SOLD/LOCKED BY VERIZON). Once the phone is SIM unlocked, the developer option to allow OEM unlocking becomes un-greyed out. Basically, the SIM lock status toggles the OEM unlocking option. There is a VERY small (and I believe to this day, without picture proof) number of people claiming they were able to bootloader unlock their Verizon sold Pixel 4/4XL phones successfully. But know there was also a fiasco several months back around release where it appeared a batch of these phones sold to a different carrier were sent phones that were locked to Verizon (or something like that, maybe the other way around). I don't remember if this was by a shipping accident, or system problem with IMEI provisioning. But maybe this could have had something to do with it if true.
My only concerning regarding the Xfinity Mobile variant is that XMo is an MVNO off of Verizon. I'm not sure if that means their P4 variants will also be locked out of bootloader unlocking, even after SIM unlocking. I would be really curious to know though. I couldn't find any information about it unfortunately. I ended up buying a factory unlocked Pixel 4 XL and switched to XMo from AT&T back in March 2020, best decision ever. And all advanced calling features still work btw. I was an AT&T customer for over 20 years. Screw AT&T and Verizon for essentially blocking their customers from advanced features when using their own damn phones they want to use and have full control over them. Seems like T-Mobile is the only one left that doesn't care about bootloader unlocking. Smh.
edit/PS: this was back in March. Not sure if future firmware updates could possibly change the OEM unlock option toggle behavior. Do your own research before assuming anything. And I want to reiterate again, the fact that Xfinity Mobile is an MVNO off of Verizon - the one carrier known to prevent bootloader unlocking on this phone - makes me wary too, Good luck everyone, keep on moddin'.
Would love it if someone could talk me into it....
Also, what is sot?

The main thing in a Pixel is the ability to unlock the bootloader and do whatever you want. BUYER BEWARE.

It's far from a huge deal to have a locked bootloader anymore.
