Also, I am considering that for long-time existing customers, if you have an old model laying about (iphone 5 or earlier) $50 bucks plus $200 + any costco discount isn't too shabby. You won't get $50 for any of these early models anywhere else right?
The rep also confirmed that I do not need to change from my Simple Choice plan to get the $200 loyalty rebate. Just submit it online after getting the new phone (since you need the new phone IMEI for it).
I'm gonna wait and see what Costco may have to offer for upgrade promos for other lines. But for trading this old SE1, it's a no brainer and fine to deal with the monthly credits.

What I got:

- got two iPhone 12 Pro 128 via installment plan

- paid $80 in taxes up front for each phone

This deal makes sense for me. I do not have any intention of leaving Tmo. For people who are moving or in a Tmo low service area this may not make sense.

Is this really how it works though? My X says $415 and the credit being applied across 30 months. It did not show up as $193 like the other guy.

But I'm not worried because I've done 3 trade in promos with T-Mobile before and that's always how it worked before.
