So... what's stopping me from adding a new line and getting the better deal? Where's the value in upgrading a line? Seems financially better to just add a new line then cancel your old one, no?

Do you have use for the new line for 30 months?
You can't cancel the new line or the bill credits stop.

How does one get these high trade in values as an existing Tmo customer?

I called in, and was quoted $370 for my iPhone XS Max, might as well just sell it on Swappa.

You go through the trade-in process during checkout and it should show you $500 for your XS Max. It won't show in their regular trade-in calculator because this is a promotion as part of buying a new phone.

For the $200 Loyalty card, the promotional page said we have to submit the online form within 30 days of the purchase. However , the form requires the IMEI number of the purchases device.... and the device is back ordered till Nov. How will that work?

I have an iphone 4s that I wanted to trade it. It's not qualify for $200 rebate but Tmobile offered me $100 credit for it plus trade in value. Should I take the offer or trade in iphone X for $615?
