Thinking about doing this deal and should qualify for the loyalty $200 but I will check with T-Mobile.

Issue is I would be sending in another phone I haven't used (IPhone 7 Plus) on T-Mobile as it's an older phone I had. Should I just use it a couple days on
T-Mobile so it shows that I did just in case?

The cut-off to have used a phone on your line was oct 2nd for the loyalty rebate

Yes they can tell, and they only require u have used it for a day, but the date range was August to Oct 2nd.
