Yes. 65" is worth the extra money Smilie
I would venture to say not high. The 48" is a bit of a strange beast in that it's made from leftover "mother glass" (glass substrate) from the 77" CX production, in order to decrease waste. So the supply of 48" is constrained by the production of the 77" model, which itself is a low volume item.

Definitely. I just confirmed it cause I know someone in the market. $1850 for the CX is awesome. I bought a C9 (2019) model earlier this year for more than that and couldn't be happier so at $1850 that's a steal

I have a feeling once the Costco deal drops, Sam's will have to change the price on their 65". It's hard to beat the bundled 3year extended warranty that Costco is offering in their package.
