I really like the MX keys keyboard, but it drives me crazy that the backlight automatically shuts off a very short time after your last key press. I would understand this being the case when I don't have it plugged in, but it drives me crazy because my keyboard is plugged in 99% of the time. The only reason I really wanted the MX keys was for logitech flow and multi device compatibility that my mx mouse has. Maybe it was done to keep from wearing out the battery, but that is a poor excuse likely caused by an oversight. They could have easily designed the device to not use battery while on a charger or provide a secondary circuit path for the lights straight from the usb cord when charging.
