This appears to be an upgrade to the S24q ThinkVision (business / home office) monitor. Lenovo L24q is the consumer version with a higher refresh rate. This P24q offers extra display ports and USB ports, compared to the minimal connectivity options of S24q and L24q.
The ThinkVision P24Q Monitor has QHD resolution, 24" display, and 5 digital video ports. This is what happens when superb color meets precise clarity – ultimate productivity from an exceptional 24" monitor. Lenovo™ ThinkVision® P24Q delivers stunning QHD resolution (2560 x 1440) with factory-calibrated accuracy for exquisite detail and the richest, most consistent color palette. The stunning Near-Edgeless IPS-type display is perfect for multi-screen settings, and connects easily to virtually any device, thanks to 5 digital video and 4 USB 3.0 ports.
i have been eyeing monitor deals and have been paying close attention to the discussion under various monitor deals. this seem to fit the right specs for its size. (IPS, 1440, HDMI) and the price is not that bad. but i am not a gamer. i am stuck between this and the Dell S2421H.

any pointers ? should i hold out till BF ?
I am in the same shoe.
This monitor checks all the boxes and fits my needs. I personally prefer this over the Dell S2421H. But I didn't jump on it, holding out better deal on BF.

What if no better deal comes up and this deal expires?
Mine got delivered today and having it side by side with S24q for a dual monitor setup for home office. So far so good. Not sure what to do with the various ports - two Display Ports, one mini DP, two HDMI along with 4 USB 3.0 ports (one always ON). Came with one HDMI cable, one mini DP to DP cable and one USB cable.
The price may get lower around BF or later, but not guaranteed. Both S24q and L24q have been OOS for sometime in Lenovo, which are cheaper no-frill alternatives to this one - but with two display ports and no USB.

that is not my concern. there is always a better deal, especially when it comes to tech. If you need it now, get it. If you can wait, keep your eyes open for better. This lenovo is a no brainer if you need it now rather than later.

I just got mine today and so far so great! The bezels are so small and the monitor is very nice overall. The mini displayport cable was such a nice surprise for a mac user like me! (I didn't read what came in the box before hand haha)
I am going to give these a shot. Bought direct from Lenovo for CB and free shoprunner returns if I dont like them. Plan to put them in portrait mode on either side of a 43" LG 4K TV that I use for my main monitor. Currently have 2 older dell 23" 1080p on the side, but I would love more resolution.

Any chance you could measure the panel height without the stand (bottom of bottom bezel to top of top bezel)? Did a lot of googling but results seem inconsistent. Thanks for any help!

Edit: Just saw an earlier original post stated that.
