I've got the Hisense 55" H6 series (2020 model) from Target and it supports 4:4:4 chroma and doesn't use spatial dithering. Those are the traits you want when using a TV as a monitor.

Annoyingly, they're never listed in the specs, so you've gotta test the TV out yourself or rely on reviews from other people who already have one.

Here's how you test for 4:4:4 chroma [rtings.com]

Spatial dithering looks like the sample images shown here [avsforum.com]. Any color test pattern you can find online will make it immediately obvious if the TV is using spatial dithering.
Thanks; is your H6 the same as the one in this thread, with the difference being just the size? Other info I've since gathered: Rtings report that both the tv in this thread and the TCL 4 series have chroma 4:4:4. Additionally, this tv has subpixel dithering (not sure if same as spatial dithering), but the dithering information for the TCL 4 series is missing.

For use as computer monitor, is this tv better than the TCL 55S434 (https://slickdeals.net/f/14478251-55-tcl-55s434-4k-uhd-hdr-smart-android-led-tv-199-99-best-buy?src=SiteSearchV2_SearchBarV2Algo1)?

My use case: text editing, ebook reading, watching youtube

I ask b/c the on rtings, TCL 55S434's backlight don't flicker until brightness is below 17/100 (at which point flicker is at 120hz, with a rtings score of 4.0). On the other hand, this Hisense's backlight will flicker (@180hz, rtings score 4.7) at any brightness below 100. Will this TV cause more eyestrain than the TCL?

Thats not the same model as this. Is there any difference? Or is it just because this is a best buy exclusive?

This Hisence 65" or the 55" TCL, which one would have better picture quality and be more reliable? Quality and reliability is more important than size to me!
But it's a third TV, so don't expect it to be same quality as our Sony and Samsung.
Honestly, I like hisense better but the quantum dot version. Waiting to see if that one will go on sale to upgrade

FYI on the feet being so wide.

Adjustable Feet Positions Enjoy more tabletop options for your TV. The R6 is designed with a total of four slots to choose from to insert the TV feet. This allows for more flexibility and space-saving.

Yes we are aware of the spec sheets, however, what is "The R6" have to do with this TV, this is not the R6 series.

Ordered one for in store pick up. I will wait for couple weeks, might extend a few more week to pick it up and see if there is any other good deal come up.

The Walmart .onn for $228 is cheaper but I am not sure If I can get one.

My 60" Toshiba I got couple years ago around black friday for around $600 is dead.

Not sure, if I should get the extended warranty.
Be careful with that onn brand. Not worth the 22$ in savings to take the risk on that one imo. Not only could it be hard to obtain....but I've observed that the onn brand has the most poorly reviewed and most frequently returned electronics that Walmart sells. Just an observation you might want to consider if you have the opportunity to cancel on this one in favor for an equally sized ONN for only 22$ less. But I suppose it's a bit of a mute point, since both stores have a great return policy and extended warranties available for purchase.

I got the F model last Christmas. Besides the picture being a little dark and a few quirks on occasion, I think it's great!

Bought the R7 65" from BJs last year. Its a Roku OS. It is outstanding for $350. Awesome picture..
Don't know how it compares to this model for picture quality.
