Took delivery of mine, it arrived exactly when they said they would. Box looked to be in perfect shape.
I unboxed it, extremely easy set up. Not a hint of damage. No picture problems. I put it though all of the features I could think of and it did what it was supposed to. I will have to spend more time on adjustments to get the picture to my optimal setting, but not bad as is. The biggest surprise is how good the sound is. Better that any other big screen built in sound I've ever heard. Also for the record, I unboxed and set it up all by myself, so it is far from impossible for one to do it. But I still would not recommend just one person to be safe.
So all is good from A-Z here. Killer deal not leaving me wanting for something else.
BTW, I did something I did not see mentioned: I used one inside and one outside foot mounting location. It is off-set that way and has an intermediate spread distance between the legs. No less secure than using both "inner" locations. The offset actually helps put the screen in a better spot for me. Probably not good for someone's OCD (no offense, but some can't accept that)
Does it seem flimsy to you, especially around the top bezel? When stood up on the legs is it wobbly and could a stiff breeze from a fan make it sort of wobble back and forth the way you have it set up?

No, not at all. I have it setting on a vintage and very solid cedar chest with a relatively thin fabric on top. No appreciable wobble, especially considering the size.

Anyone else having issues with screen flickering in HDR mode on bright scenes? Bad tv or just a software issue? Thanks

I mount the legs on the inside and it does seem wobbly when I tap the top a little bit and I don't think it makes a difference if I mount the legs on the outside. Maybe I should tighten up the screw again?

Doubt that will help, probably just top heavy..... I might jury-rig some type of rope or something between the wall and the back of the tv TV just to tense it up a little.... It's in a place were you really couldn't easily knock it over but mine is pretty wobbly and I don't wanna see my screen moving back and fourth every time a wind blows by it..... Come to think of it, my subs would likely make it shake like crazy..... Ya, thinking about it, I gotta do something.

My impressions are the same. Compared to my last "Chinese" BF TV (LeEco) from many years ago, this Hisense has huge quality improvements and everything has exceeded my expectations at the price point. Some minor software things, but nothing that can't be fixed with an update. I expect Hisense will stick around for a while unlike LeEco who abandoned the US market after less than a year. laugh out loud

Interesting. I may try this and see if it offends my OCD. I'm using a soundbar to stabilize it as it wobbles very slightly (I really have to shake it) but I don't know if that's normal considering the size of it.

I've just been testing mostly Dolby Vision content. No issues. Can you give me an example of a title you see the issue in HDR that I could test? I have Disney+, Netflix (Premium), hulu, Prime.

I was watching breaking bad s2 e8 and e9 last night on Dolby Vision Bright - using my new Chromecast and also directly from the Netflix app on the TV in Theater Day mode. Both flickered. HDMI 2.0 format also set to enhanced

Nice pics. Repped. I concur. For the price point I am very impressed with the Hisense panel. Also yeah never use Paypal at Target for big ticket items lol.

I tried both the built-in Hisense Netflix app and Tivo Stream 4K. Both of them show they are only Ultra HD 4K. They both seem fine to me. No flickering. Breaking Bad doesn't have HDR or Dolby Vision from what I can tell.

Turn off the dynamic backlight display. That fixed my flickering in dark scenes.
