Hello,

My brother is a Dentist. I want to buy him an iPad for Christmas, so that he can use it to takes notes at work and organize his life a bit better. Any deals?

I want one which he can buy and use an Apple Pencil with. Any deals on that?\

Which iPad model do you recommend?

I would recommend the 10.2" iPad or the 11" iPad Pro. Best buy has the 10.2" ipad $70 off on November 22 and the Pro's are $100-150 off. I could be wrong about the Nov 22 so you will have to confirm if that's when they have their "Black Friday" sale. The 12.9" iPad is a little large for note taking and I would only recommend that one if he plans on drawing.

FYI. You might want to verify that the latest 10.2" iPad works with the 2nd Generation Apple Pencil. The 2nd generation is just a lot better and easier to charge because it magnetically clips onto the side of the iPad to charge.

Bestbuy 10.2" minimum discount says $30 - up to $70.. which likely means the 32GB will go from $329 down to $299? Thats weaksauce if so.

That probably what it will look like.

Between Apple Pencil 1 vs Apple Pencil 2 is there any lag when using it?

I mean if the only difference is the way it charges then that's not too bad right?

Wasn't the latest iPad going for as low as $230 last year? I suspect it'll get to at least $250 this year.

I had the Pencil 1 and didnt last but a year and one month they are known to be like this when I googled to see what was wrong with mine it just stopped charging. I would steer you away from it
