I own the Coleman version of this and live in Colorado it raised the electric bill between 15 to 25 bucks a month, also i would not recommend using it during the months of January to March, They are really easy to take down and put back out they take about 24 hours to heat up. They are very good alternative and less expensive to permanent hot tubs. I really enjoy it and have had my Coleman now for almost 4 years.
It works great for the money, never had a puncture, increase of $20 a month in my power bill (Georgia winters). Take the time to get it perfectly level, do not put it on your deck unless you are absolutely sure it was built for that much weight.
I have the camo version (different brand), it stores up small enough to fit in a large closet or shed. I used two inch foam board under it for a softer feel on the bottom, and for better insulation in the winter months. No issue with concrete if you go this route. You can cut the foam board to shape as well.

When I lived in VA Beach, I had a similar one. I left it out and used it all winter. I did the same thing when I just lived in RI. Perfect for living in base housing, when getting a real one just isn't practical.

In VA I had it on a concrete slab, with 1/4" rubber sheeting under it.

I RI i framed up a small platform with some 2x6's to keep it off the ground. And then I actually used some old Emergency "space" blankets that I placed underneath to reflect the heat back up. It seemed to work.

Never had any issues in the winter if I left it plugged in. If the power went out, then it would take a couple of days for it to heat all the way back up.

I'm tempted to get one of these and put it on the roof of my current place. Not too tacky for the mideast you think? I'm sure the neighbors won't mind....

how do these hold up against pets? I get a super aggressive dog that rips up everything will probably tear this up but what about a dog that won't bite it but might try to jump on it. Will it hold up?
That was the one problem forgot to mention that I had with my old one. My dalmatian, popped a few small holes once when he jumped in. A few small patches and it was good to go again.

None of these units are 240v. They are all standard 110 - 120v outlets. You have a very short cord due to this. And it can cause issues on high stressed circuits. We had issues running anything extra on the circuit ours was plugged into.
Can you use an extension cord, is there a certain quality to prevent problems?

If you get to 30 - 40 for overnight lows you can get it to full temp outside usually 104. If you are talking those values for highs you will not likely be able to achieve much more than warm bath water which my wife was very upset about. Moving the hot tub to the garage today or tomorrow. Just also added a heater to my garage as well to maintain 40 degree minimum temp.
What heater did you use for the garage?

I recently purchased the Coleman version of this a few months ago when it was on sale for $200. Highly recommended for anyone at this price. Put it outside on my concrete patio, and I bought some half-inch thick exercise mats to put underneath for comfort. Fairly easy for one person to set up.

I live in the South so it doesn't get extremely cold. For conserving electricity, if I wanted to use the tub that evening, I would start it up that morning, Took about 8-9 hours to get from 72 to 100 degrees, but could easily get to 102 in that time.

I will tell you that the motor for the jets can be fairly loud. Maybe not loud enough to piss off the neighbors, but if you're trying to have a relaxing evening and maybe an intimate conversation, you're going to have to be speaking fairly loudly. The jets are also feel a little bit "cold" as they're just air being pushed through a tube, but it's not bad at all.

It will seat two adults somewhat comfortably. Four adults ain't happening unless personal space and frequent skin-to-skin contact with someone other than your SO is a greenlight for you (kudos).

Overall, I love it. Time will tell if it will hold up, but for $200, it was well worth the investment and turned the impossible (spending thousands on buying and install a real hot tub) into a cheap reality. It will impress absolutely no one, but it will definitely scratch the itch.

Could you elaborate on why you recommend taking it down during those months in particular? March threw me for a loop. Excessive rain?

I have seen other inflatable hot tubs. This one says it has bubble for the Jets. Do others have stronger jets? Has anyone used this one and can comment on how the bubble jets are?

Also bought one, this is a great, very accurate review. Btw, are you using chlorine or bromine? Anything else as chems. The chlorine smell and vapors are strong when the bubbles are on.

Will it ship to Ca? Will it be in in store item or online order?
Walmart had the similar Coleman version on sale ( but not this cheap) last year. When you put it in your cart and went to checkout, a message appeared that it was not available in CA. I called the manufacturer and they said it was due to compounds used that are banned in CA. Strangely enough, I was able to get one delivered by ordering through Jet.com. Of course, that option is not available now.

We bought the last one on sale for 229 from Walmart (Coleman Saluspa).

We have 2 small puppies that are scratchy and jumpy and it is thick enough that it doesn't get affected by them. If you think about how much abuse an Intex river tube takes when it goes down rapids, dog scratches are probably similar, and I think this one is a bit thicker than a river tube.

It only increased our energy bill by about $20 a month similarly to other people (we are in PA). We leave it plugged in and full of water (it must be plugged in to maintain the temperature).

The bubbles are satisfying and get the water moving resembling jets in a normal hot tub however it is not "jets" but rather air being blown through holes around half of the inside of the tub (interestingly the air comes from the same tube that you use to inflate the pool).

We put it indoor in our sun room over 1/2" foam square tiles to insulate it and provide padding from the tile floor. We have a dehumidifier near it that we run when we are not using it and it is covered to reduce humidity (you are going to splash some water getting out of it).

You will need to buy chemicals for the hot tub (especially if you don't plan on emptying the water frequently), which can add up to $50 - $100 depending on what you get. We ended up getting Bromine Tabs, Bromine Start, PH Increaser, PH Decreaser, Test Strips, Shock Powder.

We use it multiple times a week and highly recommend it!

Would it be smart to perhaps even use this indoors?
