I own the Coleman version of this and live in Colorado it raised the electric bill between 15 to 25 bucks a month, also i would not recommend using it during the months of January to March, They are really easy to take down and put back out they take about 24 hours to heat up. They are very good alternative and less expensive to permanent hot tubs. I really enjoy it and have had my Coleman now for almost 4 years.
It works great for the money, never had a puncture, increase of $20 a month in my power bill (Georgia winters). Take the time to get it perfectly level, do not put it on your deck unless you are absolutely sure it was built for that much weight.
I have the camo version (different brand), it stores up small enough to fit in a large closet or shed. I used two inch foam board under it for a softer feel on the bottom, and for better insulation in the winter months. No issue with concrete if you go this route. You can cut the foam board to shape as well.

Just got mine today. Does anyone know where I can get the Energy Sense liner? I don't see it as an option on their website.
What is the energy sense liner?

Brilliant! Report back to the fit and how well it functions to insulate. I was thinking about doing something similar DIY, but this is tempting and ready to go.
Fit is great. I just did a fit run in my basement to see how it would look and function. There is enough room for a small chair or stool and to move around (take off and put on towel) The shelter it self is easy to construct and I am hoping any snow that gets on top will melt from the heat. I am trying to keep it up all winter season and retire it in March/April.

They had another version on sale for an extra $50 with a Energy Sense Liner, that's supposed to reduce the energy bill by 40%. Not sure exactly what it is, but was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to pick one up separately from somewhere.

I saw a few posts mentioning adding a foam underneath the hot tub if you are on concrete or any hard surfaces to help with comfort and temperature. I am thinking of going with Harbor Freights Anti Fatigue mats. They are really cheap at $8.99 and even cheaper with coupons they always send out.

....I saw a video that had a cover with an inflatable center that seemed to make a lot more sense than the flimsy cover included. Maybe that's it?

I got the Cali and it does come with an inflatable center that goes in the cover, so most likely yes. Now I'm glad this one went OOS and forced me to get the Cali instead.

I ended up calling a couple local hot tub maintenance guys and one of them sold me the basics: bromine tablets, calcium (for hardness), test strips and then told me to get some baking soda for alkalinity. I think it's really helpful if you can speak to someone local because they already have a feel for what is and isn't in your tap water composition.

Can someone point out the obvious and tell me how the bromine tablets fit in the chem dispenser?

Great videos online, that's how I figured it out. They suggest 1 inch tablets and they go around the center of the chem connect. You have to twist the chem connect and separate it into 2 pieces

Success! Both hot tubs switched to ready for pickup, a day early. Fit both in the back of my Honda CRV with the seats down. My brother is going to shit his pants when he gets this on Christmas (hopefully not in the hot tub).

Along with the chemicals, I ordered a chinesium 1080p projector on sale on amazon. Going to have this in the garage, project movies and shows with chromecast on the wall while in it. Can't wait.

A tip about chemicals, been doing a lot of research on this (but no prior experience). I've found that you can use baking soda for ph/akilinity up and white vinegar for ph down. You can get a huge bag of baking soda at sams club or bjs, and I think they have white vinegar too. Just make sure you don't get cleaning white vinegar, it has surfactants (soap) in it. You want the kind for cooking. Be sure to get some test strips so you're not just guessing at it.
How much do you suppose the chemicals run per month?

Seems like more of a per season cost rather than per month. This isn't an 8 person hot tub or a huge swimming pool so it doesn't take much. It's around $15 per bottle of chemicals, I bought bromine tabs, shock, and calcium (and leisure time "bright and clear" and oh yuck pump cleaner, but we'll see if I actually need either of those). At the rate I'm supposed to use them, I see them easily lasting until summer time, if not longer.

Can anyone comment on the size of the box for picking this up in a car?
