I picked up 2 of these recently and have not experienced any issues with wifi or Bluetooth. Just wanted to share so people aren't being scared away from one or two negative comments only.
You won't be able to trade-up on the A-series. Better keep your note and trade for another note-series.
I got one from the $200 deal and its been pretty solid. Great deal for the price imo

I still debating on trading my pixel 3 for this phone. I love the camera in the pixel and the speed is not bad. Feels like getting the Samsung A71 is like a step back.
Does anyone have experience with photo quality?
I'm in the same boat. It'd be $100 to upgrade to this which I'd do if it's a decent improvement.

Does anyone have any idea what the base the tax on? After everything discounted, my phone was $65 with $20 tax. My Ohio tax is only 7%.

I'm pissed. They rejected my trade-in S5. These are the reasons.

Your device does not power ON.
Your device does not startup to the home screen and function normally.

You did not disable your personal security locks, including the Factory Reset Protection or Activation Lock.

Well if the freaking phone doesn't power on how could they tell I didn't remove any personal security locks. I contacted them through chat and they will put a hold on the $75.00 charge and have the phone looked at again. I sent the phone without a battery, which I assumed I was supposed to do. I wonder if they even tried putting a battery in the phone to turn it on since most phones now come with a battery that can't be removed.

looking for some advice. thanks.

How is this deal compared to the Oneplus 8 Pro + 7T for $800? I bought Oneplus phones, but with IPhone 7 Plus and Galaxy S7 trade-in for Samsung phones, I can get two A71 phones for about $225. Oneplus phones must be better, but I am wondering if they are worth $800 vs A71's $225. I am using Mint Mobile, so I assume A71 works there directly. Thanks.

does this phone have nfc?
Yes it does have NFC. I see that you were told that it doesn't, but I have it right in front of me and it is stated in the specs.

We got ours via the SLICKDEALS100 offer. The phone has performed well thus far, still getting used to One UI but was able to delete a bunch of Samsung bloat via ADB. Even so, the software on the Pixel 3a we traded in is far superior but otherwise I have no complaints. Huge bright screen, decent photos, plays games without issues, battery lasts for 2 days, no connectivity problems.
So you would say it's a solid upgrade from a Pixel 3a?

Depends on your needs and budget. My OnePlus 6T's screen is becoming unresponsive. I'd rather not spend a lot of money since I'm moving and also trying to build up a savings, so after trading in a work phone and promo codes, I was out $69 shipped for the phone and $20 shipped for a Unicorn Beetle Pro case. Phone works fine. Battery is impressive, smooth UI, casual gaming is fine, etc. And I've missed Samsung Pay and a headphone jack for a while.

I just upgraded my mother's galaxy S6 to this phone last moth and nothing but problems, the camera is bad, WiFi is bad, and it'll be obsolete in a year or so. Was able to get out of the deal and upgrade to a S20FE for around 450. If you're willing to settle for less because of the price hey do you, money wise it's a decent deal. Just buyer beware that's all.
