My total was $459 + $28.69 (6.25% Tax), so $487.69. for the UNLOCKED version of the Google Pixel 4a 5G.

Also opted to trade in my old Pixel 2 128GB for $175 refund/credit.

BH Photo charges tax based on your billing or shipping info. You must sign up for their PayBoo store card and if you use that card, they instantly refund the tax so you only pay for the items you buy. I believe the financial institution picks up the tax. My sales tax is $47.05 and there's an instant credit of $47.05 to zero out the tax.
