Scotts Miracle-Gro "12 Days of Lawn Stripes" Sweepstakes Official Rules
1. Eligibility: The Scotts Miracle-Gro "12 Days of Lawn Stripes" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who, as of date of entry, are at least 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of The Scotts Company LLC ("Sponsor"), Don Jagoda Associates ("Administrator"), VaynerMedia, and any of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, mandataries, representatives, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, advertising, public relations, promotional, fulfillment, and marketing agencies, web site providers, web masters, and members of their immediate families (spouses, parents, siblings and children, regardless of where they live) and those living in the same household (whether or not related) are not eligible to enter or win. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and to Sponsor's and/or Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of winners.
To enter, you must be a @ScottsLawn follower and re-tweet a 12 Days of Lawn Stripes call-to-action post that will include #12DaysofScotts posted by @ScottsLawn on Twitter ("Tweet" or "entry") to receive one (1) entry into that day's (as defined below) random drawing. You must have a public Twitter account. If you do not have a Twitter account, and you would like to create one for free, visit www.Twitter.com. Re-tweeting the Tweet during the Sweepstakes Period constitutes your agreement to these Official Rules.
For the purposes of this Sweepstakes, a "day" is defined as beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET each calendar day and ending at 11:59 p.m. ET the same calendar day
4. Selection of Winners:
Beginning on or about December 14, 2020 (and on weekdays only), the indicated number of Daily Prize winner(s) will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received during the immediately preceding day of the Sweepstakes Period, for a total of one hundred and one (101) Daily Prize winners selected in twelve (12) separate random drawings, as indicated in the chart below. Entries not selected as a Daily Prize winner on the day following the entry will not carry forward to any subsequent random drawings. Drawings for December 23, 2020 through December 24, 2020 will be conducted on or about January 4, 2021.
Drawings will be conducted by the Administrator, an independent selection organization whose decisions are final and binding on all matters related to the Sweepstakes. The odds of winning a Daily Prize depend on the total number of entries received for each day.
5. Winner Notification: Potential winners will be notified by comment/direct message on Twitter and confirmed via email. Potential winners must respond to direct message/comment within 24 hours of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected and notified.
Prize winners will be required to confirm his/her mailing address/eligibility via email within 24 hours of being notified in order to claim his/her/their prize.
If a potential winner fails to return any required documentation within the required time period, or the prize notification is returned undeliverable, or in the event that a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor will award the applicable prize to an alternate winner selected by a random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries received for the applicable day. All prizes will be awarded provided a sufficient number of eligible entries are received for each day.
Potential winners are subject to verification by Sponsor and/or Administrator, whose decisions are final and BINDING IN ALL MATTERS RELATED TO THE SWEEPSTAKES. An entrant is not a winner of any prize unless and until entrant's eligibility has been verified and entrant has been notified that verification is complete.
