Costco has 24 month Xbox Gold for $94.99(at least price online but I'm assuming in store is the same as well), so you could couple that with 1 year from Newegg for a slightly better deal.

Brilliant - everything worked as described. I got a 24 month card from Costco and 12 months from Newegg - both arrived within 15 min of placing the order.
While upgrading to ultimate, it read the deal is valid for another 20+ days. Ultimate renews on 02/24 - so it seems I got extra 2 months instead of 3 though.

Looks like the Newegg $20 Game Pass for PC deal is over but I should be able to combine it with this deal from Walmart [walmart.com]instead? And buy 2 12 month live from Newegg to get the 37 months as described?

Did Costco + 3 months for $3.51 a month. Nets me 27 months. By that point I wager there's more good deals to be had to push out expiration. I didn't get an extra month for activating Costco's 24 months though. So I got screwed out of a month. Should have been 28 months.

Because the Newegg deal for $50 12 months of Live expired I ended up doing the 24 month Costco deal combined with the 2 $18 Walmart 3mo Game Pass for PC. Netted me 35 months because the Costco deal didn't give me an extra month for auto renewal. Total with taxes ended up being $140 so roughly $4 a month.

Today when I turned on the box to play online game, I found that my live gold expired on the day when I did the deal, but the ultimate stays and will expire three years later. What is going on here? System glitch?

Did I get fu** by buying the turkey 12 month plan that was few bucks less expensive and when I click on the 1$ offer now it says to me "you currently have a subscription from a diferent region"

Can't upgrade to ultimate...

The GPU upgrade is still working as of this evening. Thank you so much OP and everyone else for sharing this info... my teen son was set to renew XBL this week. I encouraged him to check SD and with this deal he got 14 months of GPU for $2 less than he was about to pay for 1 year of XBL (we used the Target redcard discount). The Newegg BF deal was amazing, but he didn't have cash to spend until after Christmas, so this is really the next best thing for us since we don't have Costco nearby.

That's what I thought, if you happened to have a Costco membership, you can get 3 years for $150. 2 years cost 95 and 1 year costs 55. That's what I ended up doing.

And unlike Newegg It's just regular pricing, not a Black Friday special.

of course you do need a Costco membership which I do understand not everybody has, just letting people know that that method is still available.

Great info on this thread. Using what I learned here this is how I just got 35 months of GPU for $121.98 ($3.49 per month):

1. Buy 24 month XBL Gold card from Costco $94.99
2. Buy 6 month XBL Gold card from CDKeys for $25.99 (sale price on 1/13/21)
3. Setup payment method on Microsoft Account
4. Redeem 24 month XBL code. Add recurring billing for 1 month free. (25 months total)
5. Deactivate recurring billing
6. Redeem 6 month XBL code. Add recurring billing for 1 month free. (32 months total)
7. Deactivate recurring billing
8. Buy GPU upgrade offer to get 1 month for $1.00 plus 2 months free. (35 months total)
