I'll bite but I do loath supporting either H&R or TurboTax. They spend millions lobbying Politicians to keep the tax code at a level of complexity that keeps them relevant.
Weren't we supposed to get tax reform so we could do our taxes on a 3x5 card?

Last FP deal for Deluxe + State was $21.49. Ugh. With all my digital credits, I wish Amazon would match. I may just grab it from Newegg instead.

Well it's not really any kind of deal. I got Premium + state (I think Premium always includes state) a few weeks back for same price from Amazon on a "daily deal" (30% off I think it was on certain items listed on a page of deals). I tried to post that deal here but for some reason I can't post deals on SD. Plus I got the 5% off for using the Amazon card . Oddly I had to order the "physical version " to get that price. The physical version " came via UPS in a big thick HR Block cardboard envelope but inside there was no DVD but just a slip of paper with an activation code and instructions on how to download it. What a waste of shipping!

I don't think the listing ever said CD-ROM or any other disc medium was going to be sent. "Physical" meant a physical download key card, which I would agree should be mentioned much more explicitly.

It does say in the product description "PHYSICAL KEY CARD with download code and activation instructions delivered to your physical mailing address", but what they should have done is to include a very clear disclaimer: "No disc of any kind is included" Just those seven words would have obviated your and many customers' frustration. I would say it is a failure in customer service.
