Walmart has finally clearanced Octopath Traveler. It's showing up $10 for a lot of Walmarts (almost all around me were $10, one was $19 and one was still $50). Great deal if you can find it. They weren't on display on the main wall, they were all sideways on the lower shelving.

Local store have 3 and no where to be found. 1st store can't find it... SOLD OUT on next day. STORE have 3 units still no available. I think employees hiding it somewhere! Frown

This is worth it at even full price, my favorite game on the Switch hands down. Hopefully some folks will pick it up at a good price and discover retro JRPG's!

I picked it up for 30 last week cause I'm in the hospital and needed something to play. I like the combat system, although you just take hits till you can build up and do real damage. Having 8 starting areas/toons is pretty snazzy and being able to pick them all up and play their stories in a single play through is cool. I have 3 of them so far. Downside to the game is the story is zzz zzz. Very generic. Still worth playing if you like rpgs and have nothing else to do.

Very YMMV. Wanted this game and headed out for a late night Wallyworld run when Brickseek showed 3-4 in stock (and still does). Not in the display cases and not in any clearance section. Asked two different customer service employees and of course, no dice. Sigh.
