The Hunter 52" Avia II LED ceiling fan features a sleek Brushed Nickel or Matte Black finish with Cased White glass which has a modern rich look sure to impress. The strong motor and 52" blade span produce over 3,871 CFM which is sure to keep you cool in the summer and circulate the warm heat down in the winter. Running a ceiling fan in the proper direction all year round can help save energy and make you feel more comfortable. In the summertime, running your ceiling fan counter-clockwise will provide a cooling breeze while circulating the air. During the winter, a clockwise rotation will move the cooler air off the floor and push the warm air down the walls without the strong draft. The fan uses 2 x LED bulbs for energy efficiency.
Features:
  • Brushed Nickel Finish Reversible Fan Blades: Light Grey Oak & Greyed Walnut
  • Black Finish Reversible Fan Blades: Aged Oak/Matte Black Blades
  • LED Bulbs Included
  • Remote Control
Valid 1/16/21 through 2/14/21. While supplies last.

FYI to my fellow slickdealers... I installed 4 of these fans for my sister. With the included remote harness.. all fans at her house kept randomly turning off (I had a similar model directly from Hunter, that had same issue). We both called Hunter and they sent a new remote with harness and it fixed the issue. Just want to spread the word. Hopefully they fixed it. If you read the negative reviews on Costco, we weren't the only ones. Hunter was great about sending replacements and glad I called because we were ready to uninstall all of them and take them back. The new harness and remote fixed the previous issues. Not a problem for 4+ months now.

Can you elaborate on this? I installed a similar looking fan of that I got from Costco about a month ago. The light turns off (or dims way down) and back on randomly, about every 5 minutes to 1 hour (or longer). It doesn't stay off or dim for long, maybe 1-2 seconds. And it happens very randomly. I tried different bulbs, same thing. I even bought another one from Costco and swapped out the bottom lighting part and thought it was fixed. So I returned what I bought, mixed with the old lighting part as defective. But it turns out that the dimming thing still happens... I guess maybe much less than before. But it still happens. Anyways, were yours doing something similar?

Sounds like.. does your fan have a remote? If so, call hunter ask for a new remote module / wire harness that comes with new remote. The new wire harness for the remote was a different color.

Yeah it has a remote. I forgot to mention, that in addition to the bottom light part, I did swap out the remote and remote harness as well. But it still happens. I'll get in touch with hunter, thanks for the input.

Do they carry these in store, or is this online only? I haven't noticed ceiling fans inside costco.

The new remote and wire harness fixed my issue and my sisters for two different models... Best of luck to you. Their support was good.

Anyone know if there's any way to make these fans "smart"?

Is the LED light color temperature 3000k or 6000k?

I recently installed several similar but smaller Hunter fans, and the LED bulbs were a warmish 3000K or so. However if this Avia fan is like the ones I installed, the heavy, thick glass globes reduce a significant percentage of the light bulbs' output. Some reviews mention needing to add brighter bulbs, and other reviews state flickering problems with bulbs different from those that came with the fan.

You can buy IR sensor hubs pretty cheap on amazon. I would get a highly rated one and pay a bit more. Basically you program it by sending the signals from the remote. Then your smartphone connects thru the app for the hub and you can control the fan through it. Or anything with an IR sensor.
