I have this. Setting doesn't save. No Mac OSX support. I think the biggest issue was that my camera fell apart in 1.5 months into three pieces. It was sitting on top of the monitor when it broke. A few pieces of thin plastic held the casing together. I now have separate back, ring, and front casing pieces... I'm returning to Amazon this weekend.

Edit: To be clear, it works on Mac OSX but no Synpase support obviously. You have to have another program running like OBS to adjust settings. I loved the picture quality but the reliability of this is questionable. Check the amazon review where it broke into 3 pieces, it's exactly my situation.
I would say this is more comparable to the C922 as it does 720p @ 60fps in addition to the 1080p @ 30fps. C920 does not do 60 fps. Video appears more saturated than the logitech on default settings from countless videos I've watched. Some people like that and some don't. I was reading that you should try to use OBS with the camera and not the razer software. Some reviews indicated that was the only way they could get the 60fps but hopefully others can chime in and confirm as Razer Synapse might have been updated?

Do NOT buy this if you have a Mac. I thought everyone on Amazon with MBPs leaving 1-star reviews saying the camera doesn't work was just not tech savvy but I bought the camera myself and confirmed that it definitely doesn't work and ended up getting a Logitech camera instead.

Works fine in MacOS, but you'll need something like webcam settings to control it otherwise the autofocus setting disappears. Webcam Settings is $7.99 in the app store, so its extra cash...but its worth it if you have any webcam to be able to tweak it.

I was going to question why you'd need 60fps for a webcam, but I guess there are more use cases than just meetings. I think some people do virtual dance studios and stuff, where fps might matter more.
I'm sure there are some use cases for 60fps, but Hollywood movies are shot in 24fps. So I'm certain 30fps is more than adequate for the overwhelming majority of users. 60fps or higher is great for gaming, but that's not going to be captured with a webcam.

Agree. Anything more than 24 fps is needed only if one plans to slow down the video. There may be some niche cases where one may want to capture video from Webcam and slow it down and for majority of the population, it is unnecessary.

How does this compare to the generic ring light webcams on Amazon?

You realize a good chunk of the world is using webcams nowadays right?

Decent quality camera, but the light is a total gimmick! It is WAY too bright at the lowest setting, it seems like a cool idea, but in practice it is useless addon. Ends up just looking kinda stupid with this giant plastic ring. Would not recommend for this price, maybe if it was $50 or less.

Bought one and will get it next Wednesday. I hope the ring of light won't be bothering me when using.

My experience with the generic similar webcams was that they had poor color, ie my blue shirts showed up purple or black.

I have a Kiyo and while it worked well on a PC, it has flopped on the Mac that I'm now using. Given the lack of Mac software support I wouldn't buy this again. For this price they should support macs, I'm at a loss here. May as well get a Logitech or some other brand for less.

The ring light makes a small difference but will NOT make up for a poor lighting setup in your space.

If you're buying this for office use, just keep in mind the field of view is VERY wide. They're going to see the entire room. Otherwise it's worked perfectly since I bought it at the start of COVID.

I bought this camera at beginning of stay-at-home for about $100. Use it on my MBP. It works fine. Zoom recognizes it. I don't do anything fancy other than meetings but it was the only decent camera in-stock that I could find at the time. My two biggest complaints: (1) sometimes the camera stops working in Zoom and just displays a black screen — only fix is to quit and restart Zoom, (2) the ring light is cool white — like 5000K — and washes you out a bit compared to a daylight white closer to 3000K.

I've been using this on my rMPB 16" and now my M1 MBA since pandemic started just fine. Sometimes it gets stuck out of focus but I just hold up my hand close to the camera and then quickly out of the way to "reset" the autofocus. Native OSX support would've been nice but not a deal breaker to me.

Agree that ring light temp is about 5000K. I usually use the ring light during daytime to match outdoor light and then rotate the ring to turn off at night since interior lights are at 2700K.

Originally purchased this awhile back but immediately canceled it when I found out that there was little Mac support (it works but you need to install 3rd party software to control the light and/or focus). This webcam has been out for years and still no mac support, which probably means there won't ever be native mac support.

I ended up getting the the Logitech C920S instead.
