Apple TV+ [apple.com] has been extended again until July 2021. I signed for my Apple TV+ free year trial back in December 2019. I got it for free when I got an iPhone. The free year of Apple TV+ is still going on too. You can get it when you buy a new Apple device.

Apple newbee here, where can I see if my sub got extended, only I have 1 iPad and ATV free for an iPhone that I have since sold.
I see in my billing that I have monthly billing but it is $0 each and next billing is on Feb 26 and my last free month was supposed to be Jan

When i signed into apple tv its says 7 days free trial then $4.99/month.
Anyone know how to get free for year? I am first time user for apple tv and just bought iPhone 12 pro max few weeks ago.

1st there is no "somewhat lossless Atmos", it either is or isn't.
This includes Apple, there is no "lossless Atmos but still compressed" with them.

Actually "Nothing is true lossless unless it's blue ray disc" isn't true either.
People burn disc 1:1 and use media servers to get "lossless Atmos" also.

I agree with you that Apple 4k tv produces better quality than Netflix or Disney but it's not a huge difference and nowhere near "lossless" especially on the audio side.

Don't know if this has been mentioned. You can get the apple TV app on most any new smart TV. No need for Roku, Fire stick etc.

Exactly, some people think they know but they have no clue. Pass through means "skip" means the unit in question is doing nothing other than preserving the signal from Apple TV or any other device.

If you run the Apple TV or any streamer through the TV first, and Arc into the Sound bar or Receiver , you will get compressed Dolby Digital + atmos but if your Tv has E Arc Port than you will be able to get direct versions of what the streamer device like Apple TV sends
