WD Blue SN550 1TB NVMe SSD m.2 $99.99

$5 drop from recent normal of $105. Black Friday had $90 but months later there are no signs that price will return anytime soon.

As usual, 15% or so discounts available for Student/Senior or recycling old HDDs which puts the WD store as overall cheaper than Amazon and others who have also matched the $100 for this drive. <- ignore this statement, discount doesn't stack meaning Student/Recycle code is more expensive than $100.

With falling NAND prices I was waiting for the $80 super deal to become possible but with controller shortages and overall PC/console demand I really don't see that happening ever.

Noway or wait next 2 years. Tariff, shortage, and cutting supply will increase memory, mainboard, graphic card, and ssd.

Unemployment is high. Most are not working. Why is there any demand?

Is it the #fakenews ?

U.S. unemployment is at about 7%. Since when is 7/100 considered "most"?

Same price on Amazon. Why isn't there more interest in this deal? The previous two deals posted on this were FP (@$95) with a lot of positive commentary..

I have this drive and it is great. Works very well and most people will be very happy with it. For a non QLC drive with a recent controller this is a good price. It may go lower a bit, but I wouldn't count on QLC prices for this. The extra $10 is worth it for this drive.

Wish the SN850 would drop $50 Smilie
