Its so weird how lame people are when it comes to viewing angles.

What TV owner is watching their 82in TV 10 feet left of center? Lol

If you got an 82in TV and watch it from the side... You got other issues that should be addressed than caring about viewing angles.

The Samsung RU9000 is a decent TV for most uses. It performs impressively well for gaming due to its low input lag, fast response time, and VRR support. Its high contrast ratio is great for viewing movies in the dark; however, it lacks local dimming and doesn't get very bright to bring out highlights in HDR movies. Visibility can be an issue if you're watching in a well-lit environment, and its VA panel's sub-par viewing angles result in images looking washed out when viewed from the side.

PROS
Excellent contrast ratio.
Great response time.
Reasonable SDR peak brightness.

CONS
No local dimming.
Sub-par viewing angles.

Yeah, but the really excited KC fan will have to buy a new TV after they destroy it while watching the game....lol...is that covered under warranty?

I have been watching this TVs and the LG un8570. I've been waffling back and forth whether to buy it or not because negative posts. I think most people go off of the RTINGS ratings but wouldn't be able to tell the difference themselves. The RU9000 dropped $100 and I decided to buy it.

I bought this online last Thursday at $1499 and they haven't shipped yet.. Requested a price adjustment online so we'll see what they say.

This or the 85" Hisense for $1000? I don't mind $400 more if it's better. I use it mostly for Youtube 480p contents. I watched the Youtube on the hisense 75" and it suck. Would a roku or firestick help? Help me decide, the pros out there.
Why do you watch at 480? Ha

We do karaoke with YouTube and lots of them in 480p or maybe 720p, don't know but it was bad on the hisense 75".

Oh ok. Makes sense. I hate when you have to decide what to buy with other people's opinions. Wish I could hook up my own stuff at Costco to test. Lol

Right? Lol. I don't mind to try it out and return if it's 65" or less. Surely, don't want to wait @home for them to pick up if it doesn't work out.

I actually rented a truck to get my 75" Sony couple years ago. $20 for 2 hours. So not bad..
