Cricket is having the iphone se deal again. But this time you have to pay for 2 months of service, so it's not as good as in the past.

Can't beat $49 for a $400 phone with no activation fees. $30 per month including all taxes for 2GB ain't bad when most of us are stuck home using WiFi.

For existing customers: what about the monthly charges let's say if you buy 2 numbers, buy 2 phones and port it, and merge with your existing account? Do you basically eat the monthly charges for the 2 months x 2 phones, or can you apply that to your existing account somehow?

Cricket really needs to offer some lower-tier plans for people who don't need/use a lot of data to compete with other MVNO's. I've never used more than 1GB of data in a month. My wife has a 3 GB plan and has never used more than 1 GB either. My niece has the same 3 GB plan as my wife and she just graduated college and is a young go-getter, on the go all the time, making connections, working, travelling, etc, and even she says she's only run out of data a couple times. I have WiFi at home and work and most places I go so even though I'm a light user, I could be on my phone a lot more and have zero issues with running out of data. To be honest I do not even understand how people can use 5 gb, 10 gb, 15 gb, 20 gb or more of data a month. Do these people not work or go to school? Even if they do work and go to school, don't they have WiFi at work and school?

Rant over. Not really a rant, just some thoughts..

If you plan to keep the cricket line for at least 60 days, please PM me if you are planning to sign up. I got two phones in December and service has been great. I am keeping both lines with cricket for 6 months. Can't beat $49 for a $400 phone with no activation fees. $30 per month including all taxes for 2GB ain't bad when most of us are stuck home using WiFi.
To many of us $30 a month for 2 GB of data is a major ripoff when we're getting 1GB and unlimited everything else for $8 a month. Just saying.

I'm thinking about this deal, but the screen is only 4.7" instead of 6.1.
Has anyone gone from 6.1 inch down to 4.7 - share their user experience?
Do you like it and can you see everything?

Be sure to use referral link before purchase, so you can get extra $25 referral credit.
i see you posted this a few days ago.

the screen is way too small for anything. i bought this phone months ago when it only required 1 month of service and regret it. i even bought the rsim15 to unlock it. i havent been on an iphone since the 6s plus and instantly missed android. cant live without youtube vanced, headphone jack, casting to android tv.

You don't really have to keep hi tier plan.

When you activate, you can choose whatever plan you want. You just will have prepaid more into your chosen lower tier plan.

Well you are getting a $400 phone for $49 unlocked (after 6 months). If you have a good working unlocked phone, then yes, tello is a better value.

this is actually 170$ for the phone and two months service
how good of a deal is that? especially considering the price of the plans if you stay...
also is this unlocked so you can port out right after paying?

Potentially, about $175 total for the phone and 6 months unlimited everything, except hotspot.

Assuming group rate of $25/mo x 6mo = $150.

We've already paid $120 + $25 referral credit = $145. Leaves only $5 more to pay.

Am I missing anything?

Anyone know of any Groups up for this? Any reputable members up for being a Group Admin for this?

Ps: Just received the phone today. Not yet activated.
