Thanks for the warning. Did you activate the new line to use it and the activation affected your discount?

There posts on SD claiming one could order a new line (as the 6th line on a 5 for $100 grandfathered plan) and not lose the discount, but the trick is to not activate the new line. Only works if you only need the phone, not a new line. The 6th line goes away after 30 days of not activating but you can keep the service credit paid for.
