I have 5 lines using the $7 plan (1gb , 100 min, unlimited text) using the referral dollars and have no issue with them.

Did it charge you for the sim?

The sim is free with this promotion. However, it seems that their web site has a glitch - it still charges you $9.99. I contacted Tello. I was told it will be fixed tomorrow .

Thanks! Also, the site do not give option to port in and just says new number allocated by Tello. Will I still be able to port in my number after I complete purchase?

This might actually pull me over. I was going to jump to US Mobile after my Google Fi requirement was completed (Pixel 4a 5G), but I really liked Tello when used with Sprint (minus the coverage).

Any comment on VoLTE and Wifi Calling working? I recall wifi calling with their sprint service being through the app and outbound only in the past.

More info on their blog. https://blog.tello.com/offers/50-...hone-plan/ I haven't paid a penny in four years after promos and referrals but I'm a light user.

I have a free GSM sim on the way when I swapped this phone in https://www.bestbuy.com/site/moto...Id=6432489 still a decent deal but early on no activation was needed for $70. It takes some of the best pictures I've ever done. Battery could be better for this size. Now $120 w/o activation.

Choose a plan + sim card. Pay for it. A few days later, receive the sim card. Activate it. Then port your current phone number in to Tello. That's what I was told from a Tello representative this morning.

I had Tello for the past 6 months.
With the Sprint SIM signal was great but my new Galaxy S21 doesn't seem to support CDMA and Tello sent me a T-Mobile GSM SIM. Since then signal has become extremely spotty (even though the phone indicates full signal).
My wife has T-Mobile service and she has no signal problems.

I'm not sure if it's the phone or Tello. Did anyone else experience it?

Yes I can also see the sim cost being discounted in checkout. Thanks! Do you know by when we need to activate the sim? I have Mint which expires beginning of March and would like to port out from Mint few days before that.

I think it is 30 days. But I'm not 100 percent sure. You can also call Tello service line 866-377-0294 to confirm.

According to the promotion terms, YES, you can order multiple line on same account. I think you have to order it one by one.

I saw someone mention that in another thread, maybe a work in progress. That was several weeks ago so maybe it's a slow build out. The coverage looks better here but I'll report back when I get my sim. https://tello.com/coverage?

strange, I had some Tello rollover to spare so I did just checked my data only plan and it's only 3G now at 2megs. That was over CDMA sim on Sprint towers, I'd think they would actually be faster now. . Never had that problem so it could be a bumpy road to GSM transition. To be fair, even LTE was slow out here in the woods, usually over 5Mbps.

Got it, trying to order multiple at once but didn't see the option. Thanks.
