I love my individual plugs, but I'm having trouble thinking of a use case for this. Any ideas?

They're individually controlled but yea I have a single plug that's sitting in a box for a year because I haven't figured out a use for it yet

I have these. I use them for powering my janky kludged projects that crash and lock up all the time. Home Assistant listens for heartbeats and when the project doesn't report in for a period of time, the specific outlet gets power cycled. The individual outlets would work too, but the power strip is cleaner.

Thanks. Always in for a Kasa sale. I have about 15 other Kasa devices, they work so well, and integrate with Home Assistant in my schedules and logic gates.

I use them in my office to manage a second monitor, speaker, laptop charger, and then a couple of other minor things. Also use the usb to power an led control for desk back light.

If you don't need the smart USB ports (most don't) just get the outdoor version - I believe it has 2 or 3 outlets and also can be used outdoor if you need. $21.

I have the bigger version of this hooked up to my entertainment center. At night, the receiver and TV don't get to vampire my electricity, but the charging station and AppleTV continue to get power to charge devices and be a Homekit hub respectively.

Great price. I might grab this for my office to do the same. Monitors don't need juice all night but the laptop does.

The USB are actually always on.
