This is an absolute steal if you can get it at the clearance price. The frame legs are 250$+ everywhere else monoprice etc...and yes it is dual gears.
The table top that comes with it total trash, its hollow-board, probably weighs less than 40lb. It reminds me of a table top i got 10 years ago from Ikea, it would do well with kids though.
I picked up 2x Ikea Alex Drawers for 50$ each, and put the emory top on it for kids. it works and fits very well for light use. I would not expect the emory top to last long without constant care. It's literally hollow.
