After two weeks there are no pending points, no transaction history and no response from slickdeals support (wonder where those slickdeals employees went, they were responding to this thread pretty quickly when this deal was active). Is it time to retire this site and move on?

Will be cancelling my NordVPN order soon and getting rid of the slickdeals extension unless slickdeals provides a response within the next week.

So true. And the clientele here would over abuse the promotion if it were set up that way. Unfortunately, the way this promotion was set up just seems awfully sketchy.

I signed up on February 28th. Still no rebate. I started a communication with SD and they said they found it on their end but escalated it to engineering. That was 11 days ago. I've emailed them 2 or 3 times back and nothing. I'm not sure if they are ignoring me at this point.

Update 3/22: I sent a DM to one of the Staff members that commented on this deal and I got a reply stating they dont see any out-click or transaction on my account and that either my ad blocker or other extensions caused it to not track (I had no other extensions but Slickdeals, active when I purchased, so this is definitely not true). I contacted NordVPN and they stated that I qualified for cashback and that I should definitely receive it if I dont cancel within the 30-day period.

I am not going to take a chance and go ahead with my cancellation. I really like the speeds and accessibility of NordVPN, but I think it is still expensive for $89, so not going to keep it. I dont know why Slickdeals is not able to see the out-click/rebate, but Nord does. It was good while it lasted. Now need to get back to hunting for another VPN that I can buy for lesser price. I needed this to access HBO Max from outside US and it worked like a charm.

Will be cancelling later today. Signed up on 2/27 and still no points pending, not even showing a visit. I emailed SD 2x with attachments and not even a reply. Poor way to start the beta.

Even more shocking, is that none of the staff members that posted in this thread earlier have bothered to come back and offer any info despite all the problems.

One of them replied to me though. However, he stated that there was no out-click and no transaction history on my account. The staff member said several members of the staff got the cashback?? Seems very odd that it worked for them but not for so many of the actual users. It is very convenient that there "was no out-click and no transaction history" on your account. Sounds like a cop out for either bad code on slickdeals end, or, even worse, a cash grab at the expense of the membership. I really hope it's the former and not the latter.

This was the reply for me as well, but if Slickdeals cannot see an out-click or transaction history, then they will not honor your cashback. This is what I was told by Slickdeals. The staff stated that in such cases, the username would return as a blank and they will not be able to determine who to give this cashback to, basically Slickdeals could pocket it at our expense. Hence, I cancelled my order. But, before I cancelled my account, I downloaded and logged into NordPass that gave me an extra one month. After cancellation, I saw that my expiry date appeared as Apr 29, 2021 (ordered date - Feb 28 2021, 30 days meant the subscription would expire on Mar 30), so I got 2 months free, thats the only positive from this deal (more like steal).

I've been happy with Nord. But I signed up on their site. No way would I sign up through slickdeals based off the horror stories we've seen in this thread.

I'm here to pile on. My rewards points have been pending for over 40 days now and I'm pretty sure that puts me well outside of the return window with NordVPN. Has anyone been successful in actually receiving usable points yet? I sure haven't. I emailed Slickdeals but no reply and I'm not feeling encouraged after reading the experience of others on this thread.
