How is a set of these compared to an Echo Studio? Also, is it (easily) possible to use them as stereo speakers via pc (assuming via bluetooth is only way)? I know the Home Max had audio delay when paired in stereo mode but do the Nest Audio as well?

It didn't (really) expire, you just had to purchase in store.

I don't know about the echo but these have a slight Bluetooth audio delay when paired with my Chromecast Google TV. If you're not paying too close attention it's almost passable. I'm pretty sure Google is still working on Chromecast latency issues. Also, I've owned these for a few weeks and have no regrets buying them at $150 but they are definitely a little lacking in the bass department. I bet in a group with the Home Max they'd sound pretty amazing.

Hey guys. I don't know too much about smart devices but since these are with google, will they work with Alexa devices? I currently have one Amazon Echo (so far only used with turning lights on and off). Thanks !

No, Amazon and Google smart devices are different platforms. The nice thing about your Echo is that it has a 3.5 mm port which gives you the option of connecting it to a much better speaker system. Even the $70.00 Klipsch Promedia 2.1 would put any smart speaker to shame. The good ole 3.5mm port is still the only advantage that Echo has over Google smart speakers and the reason I still have a few Echos around.

Thank you for this. Any other recommendations besides the Promedia 2.1 you mentioned? Want to have a few good options.

Best option for decent sound is connecting your Echo to a receiver or mini amp running the speakers of your choice. A 3.5mm to RCA cable opens up all kinds of doors. I have Echos connected to both of my home receivers and my Marshall Stanmore. Echos have really good Bluetooth range.
