Are you all unwrapping the plastic cover from the cigars before putting them in your humidors or do you leave them on?
Lots of so called experts on youtube but is there one reputable video that you all can point me to for a novice like myself? I'm looking for the basic tips like correct cutting, lighting, smoking and finally putting it out/ disposing it correctly. Finally, most importantly I'd also like to know what to do to get rid of the smoky odor from your clothes and self as I can't stand the after smell the next day and afterwards..

To answer your question:
Unwrap cigars before putting them in humidor?
Totally up to you, has no real effect either way. Personally I keep them on to protect them from possibly getting snagged or leaf peeling etc...
