Back in stock. Great deal if you could use both M18 FUEL tools. If purchased separately, they'd be $2 short of the $150 discount for buy more save more.

Don't recall if there's been a better deal where you get both of these for $349, but since you'd be $2 shy of the $150 off, this a good deal. I quickly tried out using the BMSM deal to try to get the saw in one purchase, and the OMT in another purchase (saw + other tool at 249 to get to 500 w/ 150 off, and separate purchase of OMT and another tool at 279 to get to 500 w/ 150 off), and the best I could do was 191.xx for the saw, and 161.xx for the OMT, for a pre-tax total of 352.xx. With this deal for $3 less than a BMSM hack, you spend $3 less and you don't have to deal with cancellations or returns. I like it.

What would be the best way to add batteries and a charger to this deal?

I have the older Fuel 2732-20 model. Is there any significant reason to upgrade to this newer rear handle saw?

It would seem that the rpm specs are identical (according to this [comparisonmermaid.com]).

Great comparison video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nY8jWY3zc7Y

Anyone have any thoughts on this? Is needing to purchase a worm drive type blade (necessary for the rear handle saw) usually more expensive than typical 7 1/4" blades?

I don't have either but I've been looking for a deal. This is a lot to plunk down, I'm wondering if there's been a better deal?

Its important to note these are the FUEL variants, fairly newer, pricier but more powerful, not necessarily better since that depends on your use case for them (do you need that much more power). As far as deal goes, I've mostly only seen these versions on the buy more save more deals and this is about the same price without the hassle of returning/canceling items for their discounts.

Thanks! I'm a subscriber of the m18 line (with an m12 stapler) so this would match my family nicely I looks like

TL;DR
Yes, but you can "hack" a slightly better deal with some effort. "Hacking" may not be the best use of your time / worth your effort — that's for you to decide.

As of today, a nailer was added to the BMSM products priced at $307. If you use that nailer, you can add the OMT and get it for 140.12. That has to be one transaction, and you cancel / return the nailer. In a separate transaction, add the rear-handle saw and the other fuel 7 1/4" saw ($249) to cart, and that brings the rear-handle down to 191.10. Cancel / return the 7 1/4" saw. That results is 140.12 + 191.10 = 331.22. That's the best deal you can get anywhere, and the best deal (especially the rear-handle saw) since the the $239 rear-handle + 8.0a battery deal from ??? ago.

With the hack, you save 349.00 - 331.22 = $17.78.

No, you cannot return the OMT as part of this deal. If you want the circular saw only, see my other comment in this thread on how to get it for 191.12.

There was a deal for the circular saw + 8.0a battery for $239, but I don't recall how long ago that was, and it was the best deal ever for the saw posted on SD.

I think what the previous comment really meant was that the fuel are absolutely **better** than any other Milwaukee line, but that your needs may not justify the fuel version of these and other tools. I only buy the fuel version (and I wait until they're at very good / best deal prices) because I like knowing that **if** I need it, the power is there. You may not be that type of person, or may only ever be doing light duty work, and if that's the case, I personally couldn't justify the fuel versions unless they were ~ the same price as a non-fuel version, which they occasionally are. Or, I could possibly justify the m12 fuel versions vs m18 non-fuel, again, when the prices were comparable.

That's a good question about the blades. Didn't think of that. I too have a 7 1/4", and it didn't occur to me that the blades on the MKE rear-handle might be a different style / more expensive.

Edit: I don't believe this saw will require you to buy more expensive blades. For example, take a look at this blade. Zoom in in the image, and you'll see it has a "twist out" feature and the "worm drive" diamond-shaped hole pattern on the paper label.

DEWALT DWA1714243 7-1/4-Inch 24-Tooth Circular Saw Blade, 3-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PBHD...GNKY95AW1B

Just used that blade as a quick example, so I'd guess that any blade that had that "twist out" feature and/or diamond-shaped drawing on the paper label would be fine.
