it doesn't say not to use them, just to add pre wash with them and it should be a better clean
also he asks you to try normal or powdered detergent instead

Costco just had these on sale in February at the same price at my store. Picked them up and pleasantly surprised how much of a difference we noticed after 1 load--much clearer than other Cascade products we've used. Definitely recommend if you're on the fence

I would have picked this up if it was on sale on Friday. Instead I came home with the Finish Max. At least it's working for me so i can't really complain.

How does the Sam's price compare with the discount you got at Costco last week?

I'm a big fan of Technology Connections, and I've long thought the same thing about not having pre-wash detergent. But then I tried it. I switched to store brand liquid detergent and my dishes are not nearly as clean.
A big factor is the water in your area. We have hard water which leaves a film of (i believe) calcium. Cascade Platinum fixed that.
Be careful if you're trying to buy more than one. In my shopping cart with two in the cart it said I saved $9. Then when I go to the checkout page it says I save $5 and the second container was full price.

Same for me. Cascade Platinum gets rid of the hard water film whereas other detergents don't
I was going to post about Tech Connections as well, however like some others here, my experience is not like his. I have found the platinum pods to perform better than anything else I have tried.
