So I went to Costco today and tried to get my price adjustment since I purchased 2 x s21+ about 10 days ago. I had never had anyone gave me so much Bullchit.
1. went to Costco customer counter and requested a price adjustment and the first thing they said NO I have to go to the wireless kiosk. They will not do anything and I have to do it through the kiosk.
2. went to the wireless kiosk and the first thing they said no they can not do it and gave me more bullchit. I had the Kiosk staff call his manager and the manager call his regional manager.
3. Ended the conversation with the Kiosk manager and asked the kiosk staff to get the Costco store manager.
4. After the brief conversation with the Costco Store manager. He was able to refund $300+ for the price adjustment.
5. all this took about an hour and my blood pressure at a dangerous state.

Here are some Bullchit the wireless kiosk staff and manager told me.
1. the BOGO for S21+ is no longer active and can not be stacked with the S21s promotional discount.
2. The only way I can get the new price of $749 for the s21+ is to repurchased and I will not be able to qualify for the BOGO offer because i have opened a new t-mobile account 2 weeks ago.

BOGO is stackable with the current phone discounted price promotion. it can also stack with a $100 rebate with a new line open also if you open a BYOD line you can get an additional $300.

Let me attached the proof.

All I can say is I really like Costco but this will be the last time I will buy from the wireless Kiosk inside Costco.
I am currently at Costco and wanted to confirm they are telling me the bogo with one new line, $100 rebate with new line and BYOD for $300 is stackable. Went in just to buy s21 128gb outright but this deal is great if it goes through for s21 256gb. We're able to cancel the new line after we get the rebate cards.ive done this many times before but didn't know they were stackable.

look at my attached hot offer. looks like its not. The byod $300 is not stackable with the $100 new line offer. But hey if the computer will generate the rebate why not?

Yeah trust me I asked the rep 3x if he's sure it'll work without any change in plans etc. Checkout went fine, rebate forms printed, so YMMV I guess. We'll see what happens when I submit the rebates.

Does this work with simple choice plans.

How would this work for bringing your own device if you're opening up 1 new line and getting 2 new devices? What do you need to do to get the byod portion of this? Would you need to add an additional new line for the $300 byod?

Well I am at Costco now and they said it should be fine, but the 300 byod would be a 2nd new line. So basically another 20-30/month removed from the deal for probably like 2 months?

It's not right....With Add a line, you are purchasing new device, so technically it's not BYOD, so it's not stackable.....BYOD is purely it's your own device...

I believe Costco rep might have told you that, you can add two more lines on bYod offer on same account....so 2 lines are for BOGO (you get upto 720 rebate plus $100 for adding lines) and 2lines are for byod, total 4 lines on same account...

Wish this also had a trade-in deal.
Wish it was free. They should really be giving these to everyone and taking a loss. Screw the stimulus funds. Free phones everybody! 😂

Be extremely careful. Sales reps are notorious for lying to you and the collection agencies send you and the credit bureaus (and potentially courts) a copy of the black & white fine print that you agreed to, which usually trumps any verbal promises that you claim you may (or may not) have been given.

Costco has had discounted Galaxy phones along with trade in deals many times.
The other Galaxy thread here has a trade in deal from Samsung and $250 credit code, which was actually helpful, unlike your post.

So does this sound correct?

1 new line: $20-$30/month (depending on # of existing lines)
New line temp cost: $60
S21+: $750 x2 = $1500+tax = $1620
S21 BOGO rebate: -$720
Costco bonus rebate: -$100
CC rewards 4%: -$64.80
Net: $740 for two S21+ phones after tax, rebates, & rewards: $795.20
or about $400/phone

If you wanted to add a 2nd new line, unrelated to this above offer you could get another $300 BYOD rebate which would net around $240 after monthly fees on the phone line before you could cancel?

Well once you buy the phones outright, they are your own devices.
Worst case you can take an older device you own outright and put the sim card for that BYOD line in that old phone.

Any device you own already in full is BYOD. I don't think it was to be a device that was never used on the T-Mobile network before or brand new etc.

Yes, device you owned today can be byod tomorrow....but one IMEI for two Costco rebates (one for $100 add line, and another $300 byod) and during same promotions window might get you in trouble...gauge your risk and go ahead...., tmobile is GSM, so almost all device works, so I keep things different to avoid any denial after 3 months...

You're right in that I opened 2 new lines on the BYOD offer. I was typing on my phone and didn't see I wrote "one new line" by mistake.

That's exactly what I did except it was the S21 256gb. I had 3 lines already and added 2 new line to get the $300 BYOD rebate.
