That's a good deal...if they actually ship it. The last 2 or 3 orders I placed at Staples using my coupons were cancelled, so I rarely bother to order anything from them now.

I didn't notice that before ordering. Annoying but on my current APC UPS it's a bit overly conservative - lights don't even dim and it's ready to shut off.

This would probably work for a garage door opener, most peak between 525-600 watts. I don't have enough power failures to worry about it. You would likely need to build a shelf on the ceiling to hold it and it would be a pain to work with.

I have two Craftsman branded Chamberlain-made openers with battery backups. They are nicely integrated and I only paid $160 for them each.

I had a coupon that expired on 3/13 but was accepted online anyway. We'll see what happens with my order.
