Instead of pouring concrete for a patio/sidewalk, yes. Instead of pouring concrete for anything structural or as a place to park a vehicle, no.
Bad idea. You'll never keep them all flush and you'll have a series of tripping hazards and poor surface for the ball to bounce.
Purchased 40, gonna line em up against neighbors fence so my dog will quit digging next to fence. Thanks OP

I think this has more to do with the layers below. I dug 8-12" down, stamped gravel, then sand, then pavers and I have been parking cars on it for several years now without any movement. The pavers were the 3x5 and about 3" thick, but I think I could have used these as well.

I would be concerned with the compressive loads cracking these as they are thinner than a standard brick paver but glad to hear your installation has been trouble free.

Excellent for 3D printers actually. Place one do these under the printer and it can help reduce the vibrational noise cause by the printer resonating on most wood/table surfaces.

This is correct. Just installed my own paver driveway, it's all about the prep work and very little has anything to do with the paver itself. Good gravel base and sand and you can park your cars on it.

Having said that, I would encourage anyone looking to do a patio project or driveway/walkway to go to their local hardscape store. You'll have more selection of paver stones and it may end up looking better all for the same price.

How to prevent grass and weeds from growing between these things? I've found nature will find a way through even the smallest of openings.

Thank you for the reply, I was going to use the pavers and then add the versacourt panels on top but if the pavers are uneven the versacourt might not work
It's all about the prep work underneath. If you do it properly, you should be able to get it reasonably level. But quite honestly, with the cost of installation, you should really consider just building for the intended reason - basketball court vs trying to lay down pavers then make it useful for basketball. You'll end up spending more time/money thinking you'll save a $1 on the stone.

Would this work for a DIY basketball court for the kids to play on
No, this would be completely terrible, all of the edges would make the ball bounce in really unpredictable ways

Will vouch for this. I bought one of these for my Ender 3 with some felt pads. Works real well. Not a huge savings though when only buying a single paver but $2 is $2.

Edit: mine is the 16x16x2 paver stone which is not on sale. Didn't notice but yeah would have to be a smaller printer. Ender 3 won't fit on a 12x12.

I've never done anything like this but have done a bit of research. Looks like placing fabric down before placing gravel/sand can prevent light from getting below and stops weeds from growing.

I wish I knew what it was but I definitely placed some of these in a backyard and there was some kinda dust that I poured on the cracks and sprayed it with water and let it dry. There's a chance it might be called grout.

if you just put this on the grass it's not going to work, you still need to prepare the ground before you put this.

I have garbage cans that sit on grass/dirt. Any info on how I can use this? I have no clue in terms of preparation and if it's even doable without like any foundation or some sort underneath.
