I'm using this for more than a year. Never had any major issues with it. Had issues with brightness when the power saving mode is turned on like sometimes brightness is reduced by itself, so, just using it in normal mode. Other than that this is a good display.

About the $129 one.. it looks good and has additional ports. Not sure why there is an Audio-in port on it. Does it have built-in speakers? (I didn't find any info on that page).

there's a link to spec sheet on that page. No speakers, has headphone out port.

The extra $20 is essentially for the nicer looking stand, 3 sides bezel-less, and extra HDMI input. Have to also consider the back of it is white for those who care about that.

And the $130 one is available in-store at my local Costco while the $110 isn't (although it may be later).

It's a fun leap frog game happening with the pricing and which of the 2 monitors is "better". At normal price, the one with 2 hdmi ports is $10 more- $159 vs $149. That one goes on sale to $129, so it seems like a much better deal at that point. Then this model goes on sale for $110, so the price on the other one isn't as good in comparison. With minimal differences between the 2 monitors, I think this one at $110 becomes the better deal- especially if the additional hdmi port isn't needed.

According to spec, it's a D-SUB (VGA) port instead of a displayport.

Maybe they have a version of this that does have speakers, but this one doesn't. The only use of the Line in audio port is to pass thru audio to the headphone out port. Maybe some benefit if the monitor provides amplification/volume control, but otherwise not that useful.

I just picked up the 129.99 (after $30 instant coupon) 27" LG instore yesterday. Any major differences in the display quality between this LG and the one I got yesterday? Should I return the one I got for this one?

Panel specs are identical, so I would base it on if you care about the other feature and cosmetic differences (also the hassle of returning it or the more likelihood that the new one ordered online will get banged around during shipping).

Definitely no display port. 99% of people that find your monitor good enough will find this one good enough. If they prefer the look for an extra $20, sure, but it's only marginally better.
