The camera itself is $60.34, if you click add to cart then "1 Camera (White) + 1 Solar Panel" currently showing as $76.64 https://reolink.com/us/product/argus-2e/
I was also able to use coupon code YTB5E1PRO and save another $3
I have both. I like both🤣 tbh I have almost everything eufy but slowly transitioning into Reolink. I started with ring, bought everything ring + blink. Then realized eufy was better ans cheaper so I bought everything eufy. Then I realized Reolink was even better and even cheaper🤣
This country should stop buying Chinese junks! The money is constantly pouring into that country from here to build its evil evil military
You are spot on, but unfortunately human nature doesn't work this way. We want cheap. And considering China is building its power from all US and a Europe economics, we don't stand a chance, it is only a matter of time. We're also too busy fighting over face masks and rights too even notice.
I have 3 of these and wouldn't buy them again. The motion detection hardly ever works and sometimes you can't connect to them. The siren function is so quiet it's basically useless and the notifications are heavily delayed.
I'm transitioning 5 reolink Argus 2 to various eufy cams. Reolink motion detection is always late and the software is pretty basic. Reolink does not even have a doorbell cam.
Charging in the winter with a solar panel is hit or miss. Anything below 40 degrees it charges veeeeeeeery slow, even in direct sunlight. Pretty sure every battery will be like that tho. I usually have to get on a ladder once or twice a winter and bring them inside to charge. Or you can wait for a 40+ degree day and hang a battery pack. https://youtu.be/lPY9yD1T_CM?t=385
I just bought yesterday the Argus Eco on amazon, same package with Solar panel and was like $84 with tax in SoCal.
I like the physical shape from the Argus Eco, I know that the Argus 2E have better viewing angle (120) (100 on the Argus Eco), and everything is the same.
The app will work, you just wont be able to see anything/connect to anything unless you previously downloaded the videos to your phone. It isn't magic, the camera needs an internet connection to send the video and the app needs an internet connection to receive the video.
LOL never thought it was magic. Surely hope it's not magic, since magic is fake.
So this wouldn't work in NYC during fall/winter season I guess. My solar powered garden lights barely even have juice during the summer so I doubt this would work for those who don't get enough sunlight.
I have the 2 (not E) in upstate NY on a partially shaded lot. The included solar panel kept up from July to September then the camera battery slowly declined over time and finally conked out around December 16th and never came back online. I brought it inside for a recharge. The 2E might be better though.

The newer Reolink Argus 2E has better detection than the older Argus 2.
Reolink Argus 2E (battery rechargeable, not removable) : good, consistent motion detection, at most a few seconds late
Reolink Argus 2 (battery rechargeable, removable) : poor, inconsistent detection, many seconds late
Eufy 2K indoor cam (wired) : very good, consistent detection, almost immediately
Eufy 1080p doorbell with chime (battery rechargeable, not removable) : poor, inconsistent detection, sometimes immediately, sometimes late.
Wyze indoor cam v2 (wired) : very good, records BEFORE the motion detection (to the beginning of the minute)
