From my understanding, this is used to hunt. If all goes to plan they lure them in with free food, then the deer steps on a pressure plate that releases a string attached to a board blocking a bowling ball with a match taped to it. The ball rolls down a ramp striking sandpaper with the match, lighting it just as it reaches the end. The lit match starts burning a string connected to a set of balloons. Once the string burns thru, the balloons are released which are also attached the the trigger of a rifle mounted downward, pointing at the food dispenser. The trigger is fully actuated and the rifle fires, missing the mark, ricocheting off a rock and breaking a branch that falls on the hunter, knocking him out.
