To uninstall many junk apps preloaded by Samsung:
- Download, install, and launch the Minimal ADB and Fast Boot tool on your PC.
- Download, install, and launch the App Inspector app on the phone.
- On your phone, go to Settings and tap on About Phone. Find the Build Number and tap on it 7 times to enable Developer Options.
- Enter Developer Options and enable USB Debugging.
- Connect the phone to the PC via the supplied USB cable.
- Change to "file transfer (MTP)" mode at the phone.
- You will see a prompt on your phone asking you to authorize a connection with the computer. Grant it.
- Enter the command "adb devices" (no ") at the command prompt (PC screen).
- Enter the command "adb shell" if you see the serial number of the phone displayed. If not, then remove/reconnect the USB cable, grant connection, and retype the "adb devices" command.
- Enter pm uninstall -k --user 0 <name of package> for the app that you want to uninstall as displayed in App Inspector.
For Example, to remove youtube: pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.google.android.youtube
To restore youtube: cmd package install-existing com.google.android.youtube

Deal was better under Sprint - iPhone 12 free w/trade of iPhone8 or higher... upgraded 3 lines yesterday!
Hopefully costco would give the cash deal. I hate the 24 months bill credit. Anybody know if my iPhone 11 has couple months to go, it would lose the bill credit if I pay it off early

NEVER drop off the phone in the drop box or even with employees, you MUST get the receipt after they scan it !!!
Otherwise they never scan it !!!
"never" is not correct. I've dropped off hundreds of packages at my local post office (town of 25,000) and I just tell them to scan it, but never ask for a receipt. It has always been scanned.

Mine stopped doing confirmation receipts at the counter. Now you have to go where the self kiosk is, the one where you can use a CC to buy stamps or buy/print a postage label

There is an option to get a confirmation receipt if you enter orscan the tracking# or barcode.

It will state that it only gives you a confirmation that you entered it, but not a guarantee that it was accepted/dropped off....since some would just try to scam the system and not drop it off.

Then I just drop it in the bin. One time it took four days to show up in the tracking system. Thought I got screwed fir a second. But on the fourth day details were entered, it was already at the destination's state, and got delivered the following day.
Same experience for me. The clerk was adamant that she is not willing to scan or touch the package. she repeatedly said the kiosk can do it. but, as you noted above, the kiosk cannot do the same thing. All it does is " it only gives you a confirmation that you entered it, but not a guarantee that it was accepted/dropped off."

I had two trade-ins and when I saw that message for the first one, I realized its a moot point getting that paper as it has no value whatsoever. So, I didn't bother to do the same for the second one. Dropped both in the bin.

On the A32, Has anyone tried taking a screenshot by pressing Vol/Down and Power keys at the same time? Mine doesn't take a screenshot. I researched and found you can turn on a palm swipe in Advanced Features but that option is missing from my A32. Could it be that when I used the Samsung phone copy app, Smart Switch that it copied something from my REVVLRY+ that is blocking it?
Yes, I was able to take a screenshot by pressing Vol/Down and Power keys simultaneously. It took a few tries though, and what finally worked was pressing both buttons at the same time and quickly releasing (don't hold them down).

You didn't read the terms of the promotion.

Honestly, you got lucky with the bonus $15 credit that she gave you.

The CS agent told you the truth. You can verify that by reading the terms of the promo that you signed up for. As long as the promo is active, you'll get the correct amount of credits.

.
It just says "allow 2 bill cycles." It doesn't say to what the "2 cycles" is referring. I would interpret that as allow 2 bill cycles for the transaction to be reflected. It doesn't make sense to charge me then give me two credits later. If their system can take 2 cycles to process the credit, why does it take 1 cycle to process the charge? The trade was completed in the same transaction as the purchase, so they should apply at the same time. Before bringing your snark, maybe you should have read them.

Well, the receipt is not very imp if they scan it in front of you...
If you just drop it with them then I have seen them simply keeping it in the bin behin which means it won't get scanned and you have to just hope that one day it will be accepted by Assurant !
In my case the same thing happened which is why I ask them to give me a receipt so I can track it and know when it gets delivered vs when they review/accept it !

Like it or not, it can take 2 or even 3 bill cycles to see any changes post correctly in a T-Mobile account. That is just how T-Mobile does things. I don't think the other SDer was trying to be snarky, but just trying to explain that process to you. I get that you don't agree with it, but that is in fact how it typically rolls with T-Mobile. If that is unacceptable to you, change carriers.

And 2 bill cycles means just that: 2 monthly bills being generated to then see the changes or credits post correctly. And yes, T-Mobile will in fact do double credits if one was missed in a previous billing cycle.

My advice is relax and review your bill monthly, then contact T-Mobile if you notice anything amiss. T-Mobile will credit and correct things. They do make mistakes, but typically are cooperative and prompt to resolve them. They are not trying to rip you off. And SDers here are not trying to steer you wrong.

The snark was clearly talking down to me by starting with "you didn't read" and saying it again as if I'm some moron that didn't read the fine print (which clearly I did). I had gone through my bill, which is how I noticed that I was charged the $11.75 without the corresponding credit. The terms and conditions don't say that you will be charged immediately and get the credit later. They just say "allow 2 bill cycles" which is quite vague as it doesn't say what it's referring to. I interpreted it as allow 2 billing cycles for the change to take effect. I didn't take it as front us $11.75 and allow us 2 billing cycles for us to hold your money and possibly refund that to you. If they want to do that, fine. They need to say that's what's going to or could happen in their fine print on the site.

Thank you for your help and not being rude like the other person.

Agreed for those that did this past deal! I didn't have an 11 to trade for the previous deal. . .but am tempted to pick up a trade donor iP8 or S9.

I ordered two phones with the past deal to upgrade from 11. One of them is already in use and will end up with a $70 restocking fee. The other unopened one can be apparently returned without any charges.

There is a Boost Mobile used iPhone 8 available for $150. Very tempting if I should cancel this upgrade and spend to get a 8 to return and keep the 11 as a backup.

Yeah, I traded in an iPhone 7 for $415 trade-in value on last deal. Now it looks like I could get $530 trade-in value for the iPhone 7 with this new deal. Question -- From the last deal, I've received the new iPhone 12, but haven't opened the box yet nor sent in the old iPhone 7. What are the chances I could cancel the old deal and/or get T-Mobile to change the promotion code to the new one?

Why not wait until tomorrow and ask t mobile if you can take advantage of the mother's day deal?
