Also on sale, Stainless steel, good reviews: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/bell...Id=6412331
Same. We rarely use the oven since we began using an air fryer. Heck, it even replaced some things we used to use a stove for (bacon/sausage patties for example). Only turn on the oven these days if it's something too big or that needs to go at above 415 degrees. Upgraded from a basket model to this a few months back when they had the stainless steel for the same price. It's a great price and I love it. Much easier to clean than basket models.
Air fryers take up less electricity, heats up your kitchen less (if at all), and cook faster than ovens (frozen biscuits for example take 9-11 minutes....they take 20-22 minutes in the oven). Perfect for those who want to cut down on power usage, spend less time cooking, and/or can't afford a regular convection oven.
Bought it last time around and returned it. I prefer the bucket style to the toaster oven style (this one). The trays aren't very deep so items like french fries spill when moving them around. This style is far better suited for 1-2 people using it to cook proteins and veggies at the same time than it is for cooking fries, wings, etc for an entire family. The rotisserie spit and internal cook chamber really aren't large enough for most broiler/fryer birds you get from the grocery so I found this feature to be almost useless. We use it often to cook things we want crispy. I smoke chicken wings regularly low and slow to render the fat and then toss them in the air fryer the last 5-10 mins of cooking to crisp the skins up. The bucket style (single basket with a handle) can fit 30 plus wings easily. Toss them in, turn it in and shake the handle once per cook to move them around. The toaster style requires specific placement of the food on shallow racks, requires more clean up, and in my experience holds less food.

To be fair these are my preferences. The machine cooked items just as well as my bucket style Power XL, held less food, and has a more labor intensive clean up. (Never use the dishwasher)

Mine smelled terrible. LIke burning plastic mixed with gasoline. I even tried to "break it in" by running it in the garage for several days. That didnt work either so I returned it. ymmv so good luck and I hope it works for ya.
Exact story for us. Tried to make it work, but every single time, whole house was filled with toxic smelling fumes. Tried to return after 14 days. They'd only give store credit. Bummer.

The Bella is 12 quart. For $10 more, $60. Probably better than this generic insignia anyway.

Wrong. Air Fryers are the best item insignia makes. look at their reviews and you'll see [bestbuy.com]. Out performs my Ninja Air Fryer.

Is there a diff between this and the stainless steel version outside off exterior appearance?

Also is the inside stainless steel or plastic?

Did you ask if the inside of an oven could be plastic??
